Sorry, that is one I haven't read myself, but it sounds cool. "Enoch" is a cool sounding name. Then there is "Enochian," which sounds cool too. I think it's the throaty "ch" sound. Very olde world. Big fun.

But "Rapture?"
So you are still reacting to this fantasy? There are stories that predate the Egyptian ones and without known cultural contact. The stories are archetypical. Anybody who says, even by quotation, "these will be saved, these won't" is probably a would-be priest and psychic thief. Most certainly in thrall to gross self deception.

I prefer Taoism: "those who know do not speak. Those who speak, do not know."
That fits human psychology to the T.
