OBE's @ 3am, Demons and Cat Guardians

I'm posting my own thread as a spin off of the sleep paralysis thread that has vanished. i apologize for stealing the topic, but I really want some opinions about an experience I had.



It gives me chills to recall it, but perhaps it can be helpful to someone so here goes:

A couple years back, a close friend of mine died of a massive heart attack. I was by his side when he died. I attempted CPR for several minutes before I gave up.

Immediately afterward, I felt as if I was not alone. I felt as though there were several entities waiting just beyond the "veil." A couple of nights after the incident, I had a terrible dream-like experience.I awoke terrified. I was consciously aware but I could not move nor speak. A vision(?) appeared in which figures were lurking within an eerie indistinct but seemingly infinite background. The setting was something akin to a super foggy twilight. ehkhh..very spooky. There were countless silhouettes to my right, all screaming in anguish and torment, they seemed to want my attention. There were also 2-3 figures to my left who were standing alone and seemed powerful. They appeared to be observing.
I felt a vast powerful sucking sensation all around me- primarily coming from the right. I knew that I was in trouble. I willed myself with all of my power to say The Lords Prayer. I could only manage to repeat it 3 times. I want to say that I said it out loud because I have a memory of my voice sounding like all the breath had been knocked out of me, struggling to speak...the words came out very slowly.
I felt as though I were fighting for my life.

I finally broke free and my heart was racing. I was terrified. Amazingly, my boyfriend called me at the precise moment I awoke. I noted that it was somewhere around 3 am- though I can not remember the exact time now.
When I said "Baby!" He said, "are you ok? I woke up worried about you. Is everything ok? What's going on?"
I told him what happened. After I talked to him, I demanded that "They depart from me." I felt them obey and the fear left me so I went back to sleep.

There are many strange things about my experience which have gone unanswered. I never understood who the figures to my left were nor did I ever determine whether they were good guys or bad guys. I'm just not sure. All I know is that on occasion, I feel as though I am not alone. When this happens I surround myself with my pets, 1 cat and 2 dogs. While they are around, I feel safe.
