Back when Rajneesh was leaving America, in disgrace and under a legal cloud as his Oregon super-commune was collapsing... he said something like: If all these people chose to worship me as God, that was their mistake. Whatever difficulties it's causing them, it's the result of them making that mistake.

The irritating part was that Rajneesh was taking no responsibility, even though it was his own words and actions that inspired so many people to blind devotion. And the most irritating part is that Rajneesh had a point. Ultimately, we do make our own choice when we believe in and follow an authority. If we're ready to make the leap to more independent thinking, no one else is going to do it for us. (Congrats on making the leap, ListenUp... even if it took you $70K to do so.)
