The police there can't even arrest them because they are not allowed to make arrests on campus!!! So the urban anarchists retreat to college campuses. Can you believe it! What an ass backwards law.

I'm disappointed that not many people are looking here even with a pin. Maybe its the time of the day but people should go and find the news with the internet - not let mainstream media play it down with a 20 second mention then go on to something else. This is historic...

No they havn't. The American consumer is just a sheep that is only now getting sheared. Notice how the big news today is how the big 3 are unworthy of a measly 15billion while another bankster gets away with stealing tens of billions.

In all the images on the riots in Greece that I've seen until now on the TV and youtube I've never seen the riot police using their batons to beat the rioters.

First here we are not Korea.
Second we dont have many images or videos from the attacks of the police to the rioters. These attacks happen mostly at night and there is none allowed to take pics or videos (eg from exarchia sqaure)

The police attacked the cameramen today because they were taking some shots of them beating students and they broke their cameras.

Doesn't matter where it happened, that's what an ATTACK is. Riot police moving in force and using their batons and shields.

You're saying the attacks happen at night and nothing is filmed. I doubt it. If the cops can be so sloppy as to be photographed using a gun in broad daylight I doubt they have much control over what is filmed or photographed.

Not only that, but if the attacks happen at night as you say, how come the rioters still hold? How many anarchists are in custody? Any info on that?

To me the police looks sloppy. Instead of moving in to trap and neutralize the groups of anarchists as they show up, they throw tear gas at them. The anarchists are free to go back home where they rest and eat and then rejoin the riots later on. How long will the police allow this to go on?

I have no info on how many are in custody. I heard a number near 200 earlier today but I dont know if it is only in Athens or a sum from all the towns. Then it is not clear if these are rioters, protestors, or looters.
There are hi schools and university buildings under occupation. Hi scholl students are mostly at schools and
anarchists along with uni students are in universities.

If you have read my messages from the beggining, I believe there are some provocators or police people within the anarchist groups, so we never have massive arrests all these years. They arrest some poor kids and take them to the court but they never catch leaders or the people who call for riots. I believe they use the riots in order to manipulate the society.

Everybody in a riot are so disorganised. I have often wondered if there is any market for a underground company called "riot support". Consisting of highly trained, muscular to use as crack troops to break up the ranks of the riot police...

Very likely. Keep reporting what you hear and see. Rumours are most accurate the closer they are to the action (and most inaccurate and suspicious the farther away)..

In a similar lawless mass uprising situation, I followed the Quaker screed: non-violence, but a passive witness. Dont let the media and PTB spin the story. Go out and witness the truth, Say truthfully what you dont know, learn how humans behave, how the State behaves, and NEVER forget...
