BUT we do know He destroyed a wicked world with a flood and He destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah. The Bible says that God's son Jesus is going to come to destroy wicked people and clean up this earth once and for all. Jesus will then rule us perfectly and this type of evil will never happen again. We are in the final seconds of this wicked system thank God. The bible is not a book of facts, it's a book of stories. If God is perfect, all knowing, all being, all wise, couldn't he have seen what giving us free will would do? We are made in God's image which includes free will. Otherwise we would be robots. Free will is great. We have the power of choice. I am glad my children have free will. They have choices and I know that if they love me that it is their choice. Who would really want to make someone obey them and love them? You can't make someone love you. And God is love. He would never make anyone do anything. He does have rules but it is up to us to follow them or not. Also, since God does own it all we can give Him something He doesn't own. Our obedience and our love. These are choices on our part. God says, “I have put life and death before you, the blessing and the malediction; and you must choose life in order that you may keep alive.”—DEUTERONOMY 30:19. Humans have made a mess of ruling this world but Jesus will be here soon to separate the sheep from the goats and usher in a perfect system on this earth. No more imperfect human rule or satanic rule. We have to choose to be on Jesus' side to survive into this new world. So choose wisely. BTW, the Bible is a book of facts and of stories. They are there to teach us. And God can CHOOSE to look ahead but doesn't always do this. He lets free will play out. He did warn Abel to turn away from doing bad but Abel chose to disregard God's warning and killed Cain. Abel had to suffer the repercussions of his act. The way we all have to. God warns us but we don't always listen and obey Him. Our fault. Not His. |

I bet there was alot more going on that the wife found out about. Are you kidding? Even if her husband was secretly gay and cheating on her with this guy, that is an excuse to kill her children? She was clearly mentally disturbed and was in serious need of treatment. I will never understand women who kill their children, those lives are not theirs to take. Nothing can ever justify such an action, it doesnt matter how miserable her marriage may have been. Sounds like he was paying to molest the kids, and she snapped, thinking this was a way to protect them. |

By leaving God they became imperfect. By definition they were not perfect then. Then what is your definition of perfect? Perfect people make decisions. They have choices to make. Adam and Eve chose to make decisions on their own. A choice that has caused much suffering for us; their children. The angels are also perfect and some decided to go against God and caused havoc during Noah's day. They are now known as demons and will be put to death by Jesus. They were perfect but because of their choices are now imperfect. Jesus was perfect also but was tempted by Satan to leave God. Jesus had a decision to make and unlike Adam, Jesus decided to remain on God's side. Jesus could have chosen to leave God just like Adam did but didn't. A perfect being has the ability to choose to do evil. So a perfect being who chooses to remain on God's side will remain perfect. Those that leave God will then be imperfect. |

That was a wrong thing to do but she chose to do it in a desperation and darkness and loneliness of her children cries from their birth to be heard in their dark house. If anybody here wants to convey this information to the court they can, it's true and it will not be accepted due too... The foregoing information will aid in understanding how perfect creatures of God could become disobedient. To view this as incompatible with perfection is to ignore the meaning of the term, substituting a personal concept that goes contrary to fact. God’s intelligent creatures are granted free moral agency, the privilege and responsibility of making a personal decision as to the course they will take. (Deut 30:19, 20; Joshua 24:15) It is evident that this was the case with the first human pair, so that their devotion to God could be subject to test. (Gen 2:15-17; 3:2, 3) As their Maker, Almighty God knew what he wanted of them, and from the Scriptures it is clear that he wanted, not an automatic, virtually mechanical obedience, but worship and service that sprang from hearts and minds motivated by genuine love. (Compare Deut 30:15, 16; 1Chron 28:9; 29:17; John 4:23, 24.) If Adam and his wife had lacked the ability to choose in this matter, they would not have met God’s requirements; they would not have been complete, perfect, according to his standards. It must be remembered that perfection as it relates to humans is a relative perfection, limited to the human sphere. Though created perfect, Adam could not go beyond the limits assigned him by his Creator; he could not eat dirt, gravel, or wood without suffering ill effects; if he tried to breathe water instead of air, he would drown. Similarly, if he allowed his mind and heart to feed on wrong thoughts, this would lead to entertaining wrong desires and finally bring sin and death.—James 1:14, 15; compare Gen 1:29; Matt 4:4. That the creature’s individual will and choice are determining factors readily becomes evident. If we were to insist that a perfect man could not take a wrong course where a moral issue was involved, should we not also logically argue that an imperfect creature could not take a right course where such moral issue was involved? Yet some imperfect creatures do take a right course on moral issues involving obedience to God, even choosing to suffer persecution rather than change from such a course; while at the same time others deliberately engage in doing what they know is wrong. Thus not all wrong actions can be excused by human imperfection. The individual’s will and choice are deciding factors. In the same way, it was not human perfection alone that would guarantee right action by the first man but, rather, the exercise of his own free will and choice as motivated by love for his God and for what was right.Prov 4:23. |
