Bush and the Shoe: Full Uncut Video
Bush and the Shoe: Full Uncut Video

[link to www.youtube.com]

As Bush makes a crude joke about a “size 10 shoe,” Muntader al-Zaidi can be heard screaming in the background. The corporate media, of course, will not show you the entire video.

Earlier today, the Roads to Iraq blog posted the following:

Iraqi TV al-Sharqiya just reported on the news that al-Zaidi is transferred to Camp Cropper prison [the Airport prison, managed by the American forces].

The TV Channel announced that Al-Zaidi is in a difficult condition, with broken ribs and signs of tortures on his thighs. Also he can not move his right arm.

Camp Cropper is the holding facility for “security detainees” operated by the United States Army near Baghdad International Airport after Abu Ghraib was closed down for obvious reasons. The Red Cross has documented severe living conditions, harsh treatment by guards, and poor medical care at Camp Cropper.

Muntadar al-Zaidi: One man in a billion

Muntadar al-ZaidiA Hero's PF Flyers and a Real Lame Duck

by Mary Sparrowdancer

It was not only a moment that will go down in history (like that of "Tank Man" in Tiananmen Square), but when Iraqi journalist Muntadar al-Zaidi (aka, "Shoe Man"), took off both of his shoes and threw them at George W. Bush, it was a global moment of awe in which one brave man standing in his socks taught the rest of the world a new way to count coup against an enemy. His was a manner of counting coup reminiscent of that of the American Indians.

Some of the most prestigious Native American methods of counting coup never required or resulted in a single drop of blood being extracted from the enemy, because sometimes the delivery of a message of contempt and disrespect is infinitely more profound and lasting than causing physical harm.

Some Native methods of counting coup involved only confronting an enemy and touching him before retreating, leaving the enemy with a display of bravery and restraint on the part of the deliverer that would be remembered and talked about forever. The display of true bravery comes when one unarmed man chooses to deliver such a message to an enemy with an army and then retreats, letting that enemy try to live it down. Certainly, Mr. al-Zaidi delivered exactly this type of message, and he did it better than perhaps anyone else has done because the world has long searched for some way to sum up our collective opinions of the "decider," George W. Bush. Mr. al-Zaidi summed it up with a few words and his two shoes.

After al-Zaidi bravely showed us all how to deliver this particular message of contempt and disrespect to an enemy, Americans immediately began searching through their closets and basements for old shoes to mail to George at the White House (1600 Pennsylvania Ave NW, Washington DC 20500). Journalists worth their salt from all over the world also began uniting in solidarity, demanding that al-Zaidi be released from jail, that his physical torture be stopped, and that his broken bones and other injuries receive proper treatment.

But perhaps the most important aspect of this event is that it perfectly sums up the eight years of the Bush administration, which has been helped along every step of the way, and permitted to carry out its excessive evil, by the lies and distortions of mainstream media.

On one side of the podium, we saw George W. Bush, leader of vast armies that have murdered, raped, maimed, tortured, terrorized, and displaced millions of innocent people, including unarmed children, babies, women, and the elderly throughout the world -- Bush, who has done his level best to dismantle and destroy the Constitution that he swore to uphold. On the other side, we saw a man standing in his socks and throwing his shoes at George.

For eight long years, the mainstream media and the Bush administration painted a false picture of the man who is now about to become the recipient of the largest number of used shoes in human history. They tried to lead us to believe that he is a savior, a peacemaker, and a great world leader. For much longer than eight years, the mainstream media have painted a false picture of people like the man who, in exasperation for what has been brutally done to his country, finally took his shoes off and threw the first pair at George W. The media have tried to lead us to believe that these people are all "terrorists." The real picture seems to be falling into place now.

As the last days of this horrifying administration draw to a close, thanks to one brave man we have been shown a way to count quiet coup and send a message that just might be noticed. Certainly, our voices have not been heard or noticed for at least eight years. Maybe the shoes will be noticed. May they also serve as an opening suggestion to the next administration, that we are aware of what has happened, we are no longer buying the corrupt mainstream media, and that we want real change.

The first act of President-Elect Barack Obama [sic] should be to bring international hero Muntadar al-Zaidi safely to the United States and give him shelter, and then give him the US Medal of Freedom for his outstanding bravery in trying to bring about world peace.

Re: Bush and the Shoe: Full Uncut Video
Thanks OP for the update. I'm sure there other angles of this vid that have not made it yet to the press. Muntader al-Zaidi threw his shoes out of intense anger at Bush, this is why his aim was off. If he had actually took aim, with that great force, he would have broken Bush nose, or blacken his eye if the shoes hit him. While Bush makes jokes, and wears a shit eatin grin, I will tell you he knew what the symbolization means. I am sure since Bush is a NWO puppet, the globalists also knows what this means.

I could hear the cries of Muntader al-Zaidi ( notice the MSN gives his full name, like Serial killers! Serial killers only have two names. You ever notice that? But lone gunmen assassins, they always have three names. John Wilkes Booth, Lee Harvey Oswald, Mark David Chapman,James Earl Ray...

So in making Muntader al-Zaidi full name be known, they are referring him to an assassin.

Why would the NWO globalists do this, a few theories of mine.

Next news conference, reporters will be required to remove their shoes....

Instead of airports, shoe removal will be required in all government offices, court rooms, ect...

This is to keep the serfs/ peasants, Commoners in their place.

Recall, Hitler, however preferred to go everywhere barefoot and seldom wore any shoes when he was not on duty as the Fuhrer. However Hilter, Stalin, Mau had a large expensive collection of shoes, while the poor went without shoes. This was to control them, and keep them in their place, for travel was a hardship without shoes to protect the Commoners from the harsh elements!

Also now we learn this...

Fears for shoe-throwing journalist as he fails to appear in court

[link to www.telegraph.co.uk]

Is he off to guantanamo bay or the arab version of that? Most likely than not, since now he is deemed an assassin by the NWO.

And of course the NWO globalists KNOW the Commoners are revolting, so expect even new laws in place soon.

How many shoes will be thrown at barack obama in the future...

But of course to save face, the Puppet Iraq regime won't charge Muntader al-Zaidi, with trying to harm Bush, but the President of Iraq that was standing next to Bush. This is a farce, since Muntader al-Zaidi clear intent was against Bush.....

But of course, A good conspiracy is unprovable. I mean, if you can prove it, it means they screwed up somewhere along the line...

Shock and Awe....

Shoe thrower 'beaten in custody'
Published on 12-16-2008

Source: BBC News
Muntadar al-Zaidi (file image)The brother of the Iraqi journalist who threw his shoes at US President George W Bush has said that the reporter has been beaten in custody.

Muntadar al-Zaidi has allegedly suffered a broken arm, broken ribs and internal bleeding, his older brother, Dargham, told the BBC.

Mr Zaidi threw his shoes at Mr Bush at a news conference, calling him "a dog".

A spokesperson for the Iraqi military says the journalist is in good health and said the allegations were untrue.

It is unclear whether the reporter may have been injured when he was wrestled to the floor at the news conference, or at a later point.

The head of Iraq's journalists' union has asked the government for clemency towards the journalist who is still in custody.

A spokesman for Iraq's High Judicial Council said that Mr Zaidi, accompanied by defence and prosecution lawyers, had been brought before the investigating judge, Reuters news agency reported.

Abdul Satar Birqadr said Mr Zaidi had been charged with aggression against a president.

"He admits the action he carried out," the news agency quoted Mr Birqadr as saying.

Earlier, Dargham al-Zaidi told the BBC's Caroline Wyatt in Baghdad he believed his brother had been taken to a US military hospital in the Iraqi capital.

Hero figure

A second day of rallies in support of Mr Zaidi were held across Iraq, calling for his release.

Meanwhile, offers to buy the shoes he threw are being made around the Arab world, reports say.

Mr Zaidi told our correspondent that despite offers from many lawyers his brother has not been given access to a legal representative since being arrested by forces under the command of Mowaffaq al-Rubaie, Iraq's national security adviser.

The Iraqi authorities have said the 28-year-old will be prosecuted under Iraqi law.

Iraqi lawyers had earlier speculated that the charges could include insulting a foreign leader and the Iraqi Prime Minister, Nouri Maliki, who was standing next to President Bush during the incident.

The offence carries a maximum penalty of two years in jail.

Our correspondent says that the previously little-known journalist from the private Cairo-based al-Baghdadia TV has become a hero to many, not just in Iraq but across the Arab world, for what many saw as a fitting send-off for a deeply unpopular US president.

As he flung the shoes, Mr Zaidi shouted: "This is a goodbye kiss from the Iraqi people, dog."

Dargham al-Zaidi told the BBC that his brother deliberately bought Iraqi-made shoes, which were dark brown with laces. They were bought from a shop on al-Khyam street, a well-known shopping street in central Baghdad.

However, not everyone in Iraq has been supportive of the journalist's action.

Speaking earlier in Baghdad, Mouyyad al-Lami described Mr Zaidi's action as "strange and unprofessional", but urged Mr Maliki to show compassion.

"Even if he has made a mistake, the government and the judiciary are broad-minded and we hope they consider his release because he has a family and he is still young," he told the Associated Press news agency.

"We hope this case ends before going to court."

Abducted by insurgents

The shoes themselves are said to have attracted bids from around the Arab world.

According to unconfirmed newspaper reports, the former coach of the Iraqi national football team, Adnan Hamad, has offered $100,000 (£65,000) for the shoes, while a Saudi citizen has apparently offered $10m (£6.5m).

The daughter of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, Aicha, said her charity would honour the reporter with a medal of courage, saying his action was a "victory for human rights".

The charity called on the media to support Mr Zaidi and put pressure on the Iraqi government to free him.

Mr Zaidi, who lives in Baghdad, has worked for al-Baghdadia for three years.

Muzhir al-Khafaji, programming director for the channel, described him as a "proud Arab and an open-minded man".

He said that Mr Zaidi was a graduate of communications from Baghdad University.

"He has no ties with the former regime. His family was arrested under Saddam's regime," he said.

Mr Zaidi has previously been abducted by insurgents and held twice for questioning by US forces in Iraq.

In November 2007 he was kidnapped by a gang on his way to work in central Baghdad and released three days later without a ransom.

He said at the time that the kidnappers had beaten him until he lost consciousness, and used his necktie to blindfold him.

Mr Zaidi never learned the identity of his kidnappers, who questioned him about his work before letting him go.
