Religion is gap god theory. When there isn't a good explanation the god theory fits the bill. You can use it to answer all questions that you have no answer for.

They mostly believe in evolution because the alternative sucks so hard. A bible and a God doesn't explain a single thing. And the facts prove neither right.

People that discredit evolutionary theory usually have no understanding of biology. I'll be graduating in May with a B.S. in Bio and it's always funny when people try to discredit it because it shows their ignorance.

Humans have very short lifespans and therefore cannot grasp how much change can actually occur over millions or billions of years.

If there is no evolution, how do you explain hybrid plants or different breeds of dogs? If lifeforms cannot adapt to a changing environment, how would anything survive?

There is an experiment where a population of fruit flies are seperated and one group is given sucrose and another is given fructose. After several hundred generations, the two groups no longer interbreed and are thus defined as SEPERATE SPECIES. This is proven over and over again.

Yes, something that can be proven and can be seen is something that you can believe in. Anything other than that (creationism) is wishful thinking and totally unproven.

Absolutely incorrect. When someday there is evidence pointing to a different model explaining how life developed on the earth or how the universe started, I will completely abandon the old theories in favor of the new theories based on the current evidence.
