Digital Camera question. "Memory Full?"
Ok, I got a digital camera,, first one. Charged it up. Took 3 pictures, downloaded them onto my PC.

I went to take more photos, and all it says is "Memory Full". After 3 photos? What the hell?

Anybody good with these things that can give me any help?

Re: Digital Camera question. "Memory Full?"
Does it have a memory card in it? The camera has its own internal memory but its only good for a few pics. You need to get the right kind of memory card for it. They will hold hundreds of pics and are cheap.

Re: Digital Camera question. "Memory Full?"
SOUNDS LIKE YOUR USING THE SD MEMORY CARD THAT COMES WITH THE CAMERA
WHICH HAS ALMOST NO CAPACITY...ITS JUST SO YOU CAN TAKE SOME PICTURES
YOU NEED TO GO TO THE STORE AND BUY AT LEAST A ONE OR TWO GIG CARD
THEN YOUL GET HUNDREDS OF PICS

Re: Digital Camera question. "Memory Full?"
It sounds like you didn't get a memory card to put in it. The camera itself only has enough for a picture or three. The most likey place a memory card would be is right next to the batteries, under the battery door. Chec to see if there is an empty slot there.

Delete the pics in the internal memory, you already downloaded them anyway, and shoot three more. Download, delete and repeat until you can get a memory card.

One other thing you may want to look at, bgesides the card, is what setting you have your pic size on. If you have it on maximum pixels, you will get very few pics on the card. try the menu on the camera, to adjust the pic size.

Re: Digital Camera question. "Memory Full?"
One other thing, most 2 gig cards are on sale now for under $10. I have a 1 gig card for my 9 megapixel camera, and i can get about 200 pics on a caed at max pic size. you also might want to invest in some good rechargeble batteries, as the camera will suck up reg batteries. I have energizer rechargebles, and they will last way beyond filling up a one gig card, before I have to recharge them.

You have to flush out the memory.

Turn it on and run it under tap water for a few minutes.

Take your camera with you when you go to the store for the SD card, so you make sure you get the right size card to fit in the slot. (You can pick up the SD cards anywhere, chain drug stores, etc.) Best get yourself some lithium batteries, too. Cameras eat up battery power sometimes. ; )

Just make sure when you get the extra memory, you get the right kind. Some older cameras (currently the cheaper models, around $100) only allow you a 1 gig card, so if you buy 2gig, it might not work, or you'll have extra space you can't use.

you got ripped off. every product available on the market is overpriced and the company's only desire is to continuously rip you off.
this is what happens when evil people gain control of corporations. they then pass their way of doing things on to the next.

I have been driving since I was 15.

Jeez, I just asked for some help.

Re: Digital Camera question. "Memory Full?"
New cameras usually come with a small memory card. Plus your resolution setting may be set to maximum for each picture for highest resolution but uses more space.

ROFL OMGosh- I got a good laugh out of this one ! Are ya sure...... I mean really, really, REALLY sure you aren't a demon ???

It will be ok- just do what everyone says get the memory card, take the camera with you. Cards right now are about $8 or less with all the sales. I got mine for free -after rebate- at radio shack a month or so ago.
