What you think of a Senate Bill for Peaceful Suicide?

I am in favor of a "pity law" for suicidal people. I think people should have the right to choose to live or die at peace. They can take a pill/injection to sleep and once he is peacefully sleeping the doctor can stop his heart.

It is a lot better than jumping out of a building or doing something worst. We have a lot of decided suicidal people in the world, they jump the San Fran bridge every month or shoot their heads with a pistol almost every day around the world.

Why is it that these people must die in such horrendous manners? Why not open a institution that helps them ease their pain at peace?

They are not harming anyone else but themselves. And a suicide with a gun, or jumping off a bridge, or car accident is a lot more traumatizing to the family, because they will end up finding the corpse exploded on the floor.

Why not a pity law, allowing people to take their lives at will?

Please religious freak keep out of this topic. Those killing themselves OBVIOUSLY are in such tremendous suffering that the idea of a hell is no longer working, they prefer to die other than to face life. Why not allow them to go at peace?

And obviously, this "Pity Hospital" should have a system to filter people who is just sad for a day, filtering those who really want to die. I vouch for a system that requires a registration 6 months prior to the death execution. Giving enough time for the suicidal person to think about this and maybe get out of it/ change their minds.

A doctor can also examine the person to see if there is a solution.
