Anyone seen the movie sunshine?

Sunshine, that old made for TV movie of the woman dying of cancer and her husband that took a mistress during that time and the inter-relationship dynamics.

It was a sad movie. From the mid 70s I believe.

The Sci-Fi flick? Yep. Great movie.

Just saw it and it was pretty good.

But why do movie makers think they need a villain and a battle scene between the hero and the villain. In this case the villain was an overcooked fellow that has waited for seven years. It is pretty cool when his arm gets pulled of but other than that I'm not sure he advanced the plot any.

Yea Sunshine was freaking awesome, especially the first 2/3 of it or so.

The ending was kind of a let down, but overall it was fantastic.

I saw it. If we can have a 'man in the moon,' why not a 'man in the sun' too? That scene with the bad guy getting his arm pulled off was rather creepy - but just the thing to appeal to the kids, I'd say.

Is that the same movie about the Sun dying?
