The NASA site says that it "ran aground" and turned so that it would just miss the tongue of ice it was supposed to hit. A blogger from McMurdo´s last entry was Jan. 12th when she says she was supposed to have flown out the day before but weather prevented a plane getting in. She hopes to fly out the next day.
