Star moving around in the sky -- go out and look at it
I've been seeing this star move around since June 2007. Right now it's centered between the constellation Cassiopeia and the Big Dipper. Cassiopeia looks like a crooked "W" laying on its side and is to the east of the moving star. The Big Dipper is to the right of the moving star. If you look to the north you will see a star with approximately the same brightness as the stars in the Big Dipper. It stays in the same place in the sky all night long. It moves around all the time. Please take a few minutes to go out and take a look and report back if you see the star moving around.

Anyone else see it? I've been noticing it for a long time. Is it the North Star? Anyway, if you sit on a chair and just look at it for a while you'll see it go up, down, sideways and sometimes zig zag and twist around almost like someone is writing with it in cursive. I don't know how else to explain it, but it is definitely moving all the time.

There are two that I see every night, NNE & NNW. They are there all night, probably all day. I took photos, and they are UFO's. Those aren't online, but this is the same as what they are. [link to picasaweb.google.com]

Yes, it is Polaris, the North Star.

And no, it is not moving around. The earth is wobbling around relative to it. Can't you feel it?

ya I'm more interested in the stars that i find every night moving across the sky very much like ufo's they come and go and r very hard to follow . most of them r slow and disapear but i've seen lots pick up speed and criss cross across the sky , some start off slow and speed up then disapear. at first i thought maybe government sattalites or shooting stars but they sometimes go in different directions. I see them a lot. sometimes there is none all night and other nights there is lots of them. I've also been seing lots of other strange moving things that i can't discribe in words other than ufo's. there is deffinatly something or someone else up there. keep looking up. peace out

btw

Many who sense craft but cannot see them are really sensing actual craft-

See without your eyes and believe and you will see

many craft are in the skies but few see them-a handful can sense them and then are allowed to 'see them' and then they disappear again...this is to confirm to those who do see that they are really experiencing not just imaging.

Orbs for me are also 'craft' but not in the true sense of the word...they are beings in a 'light body'

these do not materialize as 'greys' either-so far I would not trust them...nor have I had any contact with them that I recall opposed to the others I have mentioned.

Take care bump

Re: Star moving around in the sky -- go out and look at it
ok, idk about the original post. but im on cause i was outside for the last hour, and i noticed multiple (wat i believe to be) stars, moving accross the sky, in addition to a few bright red shooting stars than came and went in a flash, these are dim feint stars. the 4 i saw had no additional lights flikering to indicate it being a plane, also, none of them were moving in a straight line, they were almost zig-zag, like, wiggling, all heading towards the south end of the sky. i also used a telescope. able to briefly follow 2 of the stars, again, with the telescope,i was unable to see any additional lights of red or green, or even white to signify them being planes. just singular white lights, almost "dancing" accross the sky. ive never seen it before. does anyone at all know wat they may be?

Re: Star moving around in the sky -- go out and look at it
I live in Washington State, In a remote area called the Methow Valley, Winthrop Washington, about 90 miles north of Canada. For at least 5 years now I have been observing these planets, more than one, they move up and down sideways and seem to spin at the same time with different colors. I can pick them out of the night sky immediately. They are more active around 1:00am to 3:00am. They are not sattelites thats for sure, very odd. Sometimes they just turn off and then on, I feel they are spaceships of some sort. It seems people are seeing these so called stars all over the world. What are they? Who knows but its not normal what they are doing, who and what are they?

See them all the time. More so this summer. Made a bed and left it out in the middle of a field. Was out there just about every night for a couple of hours. Prime time seemed to be between 10 and 12 pm. Not a night would pass without somthing strange moving around up there. Halloween for grownups. Just like the movie Close Encounters. Signs in the Sky.

Re: Star moving around in the sky -- go out and look at it
Was on a 40 mile backpacking trip in the north Cascades, Glacier Peak Wilderness. Ended up making camp in the side of a mountain the second night because I lost the trail in all the snow and it got dark. I was a little paranoid about animals and I was sleeping in a hammock, it was a clear clear clear night so I didn't put up the rainfly. I had a clear view of the sky all night. The moving star caught my eye after about 20 minutes as I thought it might be a bear or something. It wasn't. It stayed there for hours. It appeared to be to my west/nw. I also saw shooting stars streak just to the east of the object that was moving, my thought was that it was moving around avoiding getting hit or something. It makes no sense what that was. There were no other stars moving around, only this one. Also it was extremely bright, and seemed to have more of an oval shape. (it was a very small detail and it could of just been my eyes being tired)

I don't think there was any geothermal activity where I was, and I could see it sooooo clearly as I was 6000ft up on a mountain. If I had to guess the object seemed very close, and was hovering above the city of Everett; which has the largest Boeing plant in the world.

The movements you "think" you see, are due to imperceptible (to the viewer) movements of eye muscles. Pick another star and focus on it. It too will begin behaving in the same manner. Occam's razor.bump
