Ask them how that makes them feel. Ask them why? Ask them when you have an opinion with your opinion and question them with that! There is no being with ALL THE answers accept for God. Even still question. But trust if it's all good and loving then follow with your full heart believing. For the light will always be the light. It makes me a believer. |

Quoting: star gazer"Children with ADHD show large difference in eye movements compared with normal children. For example, those without ADHD could follow the light spot for 30 seconds to as much as five minutes, whereas the children with the disorder could only follow the stimulus for about three to five seconds," says Giorgos Pavlidis at University of Brunel, UK, who led the study. Children that follow the light spot for 30 seconds to 5 mins don't have ADHD? And the ones that follow for a few seconds have ADHD? Every child I've ever seen with ADHD could play a computer game like this for HOURS! The normal kids would have a tough time. Looks like the normal kids get the drugs now. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 577511 United States 01/27/2009 08:05 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | ADHD is not a disorder rather an alternative mind set. I have this BS "disorder" classification and there is no other I have EVER met with the precise and wildly varied capabilities. In every technical class room I was easily head of the class. In grade school I got straights "F"s Those who know me think im some sort of genius. Makes me really laugh. And why do they teach nothing in school? Every "Normal person" of "Standard" and "Advanced" Education only know but 1 mabey 2 skills to precision/mastery. And as adults seem INCAPABLE of learning new skills to precision/mastery mostly too competence/acceptance do they achieve. The greater percentage of those I know that are ADHD have multiple skill sets and have worked multiple and various jobs to great effect and precision/mastery. Why do "they" fear and loath those of the "ADHD" mind set? Single threaded thought is so monotone and BORING!!!!! I Bet Nikola Tesla was ADHD. Is it time yet for us to take OUR country, lives, children, and freedom/power back yet? |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 499547 United States 01/27/2009 08:56 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | In order to get it, they had to already have a way of determining ADHD....and they don't. ADHD is a guessing game of psych specialists. If the person or person's "keepers" (teachers, parents) claim a certain % of the symptoms, they are labeled. Once they are labeled the have a no. in the DSM (Diagnostic and Statistic Manual)--which is all a bunch of BS created by big pharma lobbying DC to get diagnosis no.'s for every feeling you experience--that way you can get a pill to numb it and conform----If you read the symptoms, basically the entire population of the planet at one time or another has all of them. Give me an f'ing break! Working in the ER back in the late 80's I had to take down medical background for patients coming in, and even back then the number of folks on ritalin and the like was astounding. And there was double that on anti depressants back then...now it's got to be in the 70% + range I would imagine (although the range of the folks who frequent ER's would probably be in the 80-90% I would guess)... |
