Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1978Do you think that if I contacted the local masonic lodge they would be able to make one of these for me? Most of them are quite old and I cant see them doing it themselves, so I figure they must have a contractor to do it. |

Your choice to make. The entire picture is a picture of the milky way galaxy. It is a warning and is good news. The eye in the middle is a representation of God who sees all. The star figure reaching out is a depiction of a burst of energy that cyclically pulses massively powerful rays of energy out toward the outer parts of the galaxy. The little symbol on the right pointing branch of the star represents a doorway that will open for us with only a narrow path which will open and close in cycles as shown by the wavy line - think of a sine wave. It may be the path to enlightenment or the path to the next level of human existence. That right pointing arm of the star also points to the area in the milky way where our solar system is. What we have coming in our future is so far out it really can't be explained by those who actually know, and I am not one of them. |

I can see that symbolism was intended by the people who made it, and you could well be right that the eye in the middle is the symbolic all seeing eye, and I see your idea about it being galaxy like, but it is likely even more complex than this. I would not be surprised if the artist had specific intent with the sizes and angles. One of the big problems with works of art are that different people looking at it see and interpret different things. I would like to ask the artist directly what all of their symbolism means. I would pay to have this one reproduced in my fields. |
