Definition of Betrothed: (for the unlearned)

Pledged to be married - It is not a marriage as such. There is no sex involved.

many laws in the Torah have not been practiced for 1000's of years: Like stoning, an eye for an eye etc..

Find me one (just one) Jewish family that has married off their daughter at age 10 - and allowed her to be raped by a man 3 times her age?
