Will it work for Google - Chrome?

Beats me. I don't like Google crap.

WORD OF WARNING: YES IT DOES WORK (I JUST INSTALLED IT AND TRIED IT) BUT TURN THE THING OFF WHEN YOU WANT TO TYPE SOMETHING OR IT WILL WIPE OUT YOUR TYPING WHEN IT REFRESHES THE PAGE. TO TURN IT OFF RIGHT-CLICK AND SELECT "Reload Every > Disable All Tabs".

why would anyone want to screw everything up like that

have you ever been to drudge...your reading the 2 line blurbs and deciding if you want to read a story and the automatic refresh hits ya....

Pisses me off so much I don't go to Drudge anymore...
automatic refresh will also mess up anything you are typing...
auto refresh is just another gimmick to get higher rankings in Alexa

How do you think drudge keeps climbing higher in rankings... not because more people visit the site...but everyone who is on the site is counted 3 or 4 times..(at the least)

So is hitting the refresh button too hard?

Automatic refresh is very handy if you are watching the front page and waiting to a reply to a thread. If you do this a lot, yes, hitting refresh by hand gets very annoying after a while.

One nice feature is that you can turn on (or off) automatic refresh for just one instance of your browser, if you happen to have more than one browser open. And really great if you have multiple monitors and only want to watch GLP while you work on other projects.

Some of us still like shifting gears ourselves.
