Rod Blagojevich is a hero and an American Patriot. That he was driven from office by bankers is a badge of honor. The man did a lot of good for the people he was elected to represent. He brings honor to his family name and the great Serbian people can be proud of his years of public service.

I agree. He's the only one on the scene that laid his political career on the line for what he believes in. Would we had more like him.

Wouldn't a bank be the most likely candidate to notice unusual money activity in bank accounts of influential people? These people get special audits from time to time and Blago just wasn't smart enough to put his money in the right place.

It may be that he found out who 'busted' him and again illegally used the power of his office for his own gain by trying to 'reverse-extort' the bank.

note to self.never think out loud..he was railroaded..we all know it..the kangeroo court hearing proved it. cause none of obamas people were on trial..about all thier imputs and involvements..

Blago knew he was being recorded and about to be arrested BEFORE he went to the rally with the factory workers. He knew shit was about to hit the fan, and used that as an opportunity to put himself in a positive light in the public eye, ie a man of the people. However, he is not. The tinest bit of research will inform you of that. Now, as far as him "standing up to" BofA, i actually disagreed with his stance on that as well. First and foremost, I am against bailouts. However, once BofA had bailout money, being that is our money (either by taxation, or hidden taxation aka inflation), i personally do not want the banks to continue to lend to borrowers who do not pay back. the company was a failed one, and by all means should have had their credit cut off. The company was at fault for not informing the employees of their situation, not BofA. So what message did that send? If you are a failed business who is having your credit line cut off, stage a sit in, invite some tv news crews by, and use a politician to make threats and basically extort a bank(as much as i dont like them) to continue loaning money ot failed business? Sorry, I disagreed with blago on his little stunt there. And i disagree with anyone who thinks the only reason he went down is becasue he took a stand against a bank Actually, he took a stand against a bank because he knew he was going down, plain and simple.
