Google earthing underground city entrances of the ancients (giants?) DEATH VALLEY
If anyone knows the GPS coordinates of the mountain entrance this talks about post it, otherwise I thought it would be fun to attempt to find this in google earth.

Death Valley, CA. Entrance.
Local Indian legends speak of a tunnel that runs beneath the desert. (Note: The book "Death Valley Men," tells the story of 3 people who are supposed to have found an underground city connected with this tunnel, and who actually took treasures from it. The entrance to the Death Valley Tunnel is in the Panamint Mountains down on the lower edge of the range near Wingate Pass, in the bottom of an old abandoned shaft. The bottom of the shaft is collapsed, opening an entrance into a large tunnel system containing much treasure. These tunnels connect with the surface also through arches (like large windows) in the side of the mountain and they look down on Death Valley. They're high above the valley now, but they were once on the edge of the water, and were accessed by boats. The "windows" in the Death Valley side of the Panamint Mountains are about 4,500-5,000 feet above the bottom of Death Valley, and are across from Furnace Creek Ranch. From these openings you can see the green of the ranch below you and Furnace Creek Wash across the valley. (So, with high-powered binoculars or a telescope, you should be able to see the openings from the Furnace Creek Ranch, or Wash.) You can drive down Emigrant Canyon towards Death Valley. You can then park beside the road between Furnace Creek Ranch and the Salt Bed. (From here, the windows should be visible through binoculars.) Indian legends of the Paiutes Indians speak of the people who used to live in the Panamint's caverns.

THE STORY...

Dr. F. Bruce Russell had come to Death Valley from the east coast. He had taken up mining in the west for the sake of his health and was exploring across the Colorado River into Arizona. What he found he described as the burial place of a tribal hierarchy within the ritual hall of an ancient people. He felt that some unknown catastrophe had driven them into these caves. All of the implements of their civilization were there, including household utensils and stoves. Dr. Russell reported seeing hieroglyphics chiseled on carefully polished granite within what appeared to be a cavern temple. Another cave led to their sacred hall which contained carvings of ritual devices and markings similar to those of the Masonic Order. A long tunnel from this temple led to a room where, Hill said, "Well-preserved remains of dinosaurs, saber-toothed tigers, imperial elephants, and other extinct beasts were paired off in niches as if on display."

Ten to fifteen years earlier the caves had been seen by another miner who had fallen from the bottom of a mineshaft. In his book, "Death Valley Men", Bourke Lee related a conversation among residents of Death Valley concerning the local Paiute Native American legends of an underground city at Wingate Pass. After falling through the ceiling of an unknown tunnel, the miner had followed it 20 miles north of the Panamint Mountains to discover a huge ancient underground city. He saw arching stone vaults with huge stone doors and a polished round table in the center of their council chamber which had once been lit by ingenious lights fueled by subterranean gases. Leaning against the walls were their tall gold spears. He said that the designs on their thick golden armbands resembled the work of the Egyptians. The tunnel ended at an exit overlooking Furnace Creek Ranch in California's Imperial Valley. He could see from there that the valley had once been underwater. The tunnel entrance had been a dock or a quay located halfway up the side of the mountain. A deal was made with the Smithsonian museum for the find, but the miner was betrayed by his partner. The evidence was stolen and the entrance concealed. In a 1940 a mining journal, another find was reported of much worked gold found in an 8 mile long cave near San Bernadino.

University of Arizona professor Vine Deloria, himself a Native American, made a similar accusation against the Smithsonian for covering up the remains found within the burial mounds of the Moundbuilder civilization. Surviving diaries from before the time Darwin attest to these discoveries. The Moundbuilders were a different civilization than that of the Indians, they said. The mounds contained the remains of hundreds of giants along with the bones of giant mastodons. In Cincinnati, Ohio the giant bones were found with large shields, swords, and engraved stone tablets. In Kentucky and Tennessee the bones of "powerful men of towering stature" were excavated. One of these 7 foot men was buried with an engraved copper plate beneath his head. A woman was also found. She was wearing a silver girdle with letters written on it. The Detroit Free Press reported in 1884 the discovery in Gartersville, Mississippi of the remains of a giant with waist-length jet-black hair. He was wearing a copper crown. With him in his timber burial vault were his children who wore garments decorated with bone beads. The tomb was covered with large flagstones engraved with inscriptions.

Interesting... checking the USGS topo maps show that at least the southern tip of that mountain range is a US naval reserve...which would give credit to this story about the navy taking submarines hundreds of miles inland underground.

Hummm. Gee this makes me go HUMMMMMMM. I live near (45 miles from) Death Valley. Death Valley is my obbsession. I have explored many square acres in the Valley over ten years. While there are many caves, and some deep or long, I doubt there is a portal to the center of the earth. If there is one there, I should have came across it years ago.

In fact, I will be in Death Valley for my yearly three week stay, in about 20 days. I will now pursue this far told anomaly with vigor. Report due out in about April 2009. I will do a real subjective reasearch and let you all know about this interesting subject.

well Charles Manson believed there was an entrance to the hollow earth and a great city of ancients below Devil's Hole in death valley and was trying to take his followers there to escape so you might look there. (no trying to start any Manson thread here just saying)

The egyptinas were in North America 200 bc! So were the Hebrews. In What is today New Mexico. Smithsonian admitted it, then retracted their statements and denied it. back in the early 1900s.
Toltecs were in the Mayan areas, and you can see their stele in Mayan museums. Ever wonder why so many of the Steles and murals of the aztecs and mayans have men with beards and moustaches depicted in them?
Only "Natives" of North and Central America dont grow facial hair! There were a ton of peoples in the Americas from Europe and the ME, all the way back to 5000 BC.
Barry Fell was a master of proving this.

The Lovelock cave in Nevada is a perfect example of the cover up by the smithsonian. Their have been at least 60 giant mummies found there, and some of their skulls managed to be preserved for us today. Just look for them on the web. They are there.

Our history is NOT what we've been taught, obviously.

My memories of a life in Ancient Egypt when the capital was at the mouth of the Nile. (Yes, there are remnants of the old place which have been found by archaelogists.) Just a memory, take it as entertainment reading. And, consider that the "official" story was written by "The Sheepherders", who most certainly did not want to record who Hagar really was.

Familiar with mountains in all directions from PHX
They are not just supposed.
I've been in mines under/inside several of them. They are not slag heaps.

Also cognizant of Ciete Ciudades,
which a Physics teacher of mine compared with remains of buildings he saw in 1945.
Bricks/stones fused into a solid rock mass.
He saw the similiarity while serving in Japan, at Hiroshima.
