I would just like to point out that this is..well, unlikely.
1. The rocket itself has 155 mile range which would mean its sub-orbital. There are certain basic laws of rocket propulsion that are hard to change.Namely, the law of gravity. Even if they put nothing but fuel in it and no payload, the rocket itself would be hard pressed to send anything into orbit.
2. The payload was under 30 kilos. Unless they have contracts to buy mini sats from the few countries in the world, its probably a few batteries and a camcorder.
Again, its a hell of an accomplishment if real.I don't mean to detract from that. But I would not consider Iran anywhere near a space capable country.
That includes ICBM's btw.
