Good post. I think you've spelled it out pretty clearly.

Most Obama supporters don't expect miracles. So far it's just been nice not be embarrassed for my country whenever the president appears (as it was with Bush).

And I agree with everything Obama himself has done thus far except for a few of his cabinet appointments. However, I know he's walking a political tightrope just to get where he is.

I'm still hopeful, yet expecting some behind-the-scenes skullduggery as occurred with JFK.
