Don't get me wrong that would be ideal and I agree, it is a shame. I just don't think it's realistic reasoning at this point in history. The global power elite are so entrenched, so corrupt and so twisted I think that this is impossible. Like you said, there is another side. Having spent much of my life as a musician, the term amplification is not foreign to me :P.

Yeah, you'll have to pay extra tax's, so you have an economy at the end of all of this. If you don't pay back the banks as a gesture of goodwill, you will have no economy, and your houses will be seized, leaving millions homeless.

Obama is just trying to make this as painless as possible for you guys.. in the short and longterm.

People would prefer to have homes and pay a little more tax I'm sure.
