I don't think there can be many people who actually think Gordon Brown has any idea how to sort out this mess.

Yeah lol. Not too keen on Cameron either.. Or any of our parties tbh. They just don't listen to the people anymore..

If I had to rank the main party leaders, it would go Clegg > Brown > Cameron. I disagree with some of the Lib Dems policies though, and will probably vote Green at the next election.

We could probably organise something in protest..
It just depends what you dislike about the government. It's hard to protest something when you're not sure what you're protestng about.

We definitely need a government! Anarchy would be fun for a day or two, but I'm pretty sure it'd get prety old pretty fast.. Though a fair dictatorship might work :P .

I remember reading something awhile back which talked about the Queen signing away the last veto? hope I hope I got that right which would totally strip the UK of everything and hand it over to the E.U.. West Minster would close and the Uk gets divided up in to blocks.. new Laws, new Regs

It says on this site below that the 6th and FINAL treaty was already signed by the Queen. Doesn't look anymore reliable than your link so here goes...

The EU arrest warrant (signed by the Queen on 18th November 2003) allows us to be arrested without charge and held indefinitely with no right to see a solicitor, make a phone call, or even a right to a trial. You can simply disappear.

Under the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act (SOCPA) 2005, we can now be arrested and held in the cells by any police officer for any petty offence, like dropping litter. Before it had to be an offense that carried a 5 year jail term. This also applies to all of the EU's 107,000 regulations. Do you know them all?

In another example of the Government's draconian stance on political protest, Steven Jago, 36, a management accountant, yesterday became the latest person to be charged under the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act.

On 18 June, Mr Jago carried a placard in Whitehall bearing the George Orwell quote: In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act. In his possession, he had several copies of an article in the American magazine Vanity Fair headlined "Blair's Big Brother Legacy", which were confiscated by the police. The implication that I read from this statement at the time was that I was being accused of handing out subversive material, said Mr Jago. Yesterday, the author, Henry Porter, the magazine's London editor, wrote to Sir Ian Blair, the Metropolitan Police Commissioner, expressing concern that the freedom of the press would be severely curtailed if such articles were used in evidence under the Act.

Mr Porter said: The police told Mr Jago this was 'politically motivated' material, and suggested it was evidence of his desire to break the law. I therefore seek your assurance that possession of Vanity Fair within a designated area is not regarded as 'politically motivated' and evidence of conscious law-breaking.

Scotland Yard has declined to comment.

You left out Vince Cable; not a party leader, as such, but an important politician to be encouraged in my opinion, despite being a Liberal. Also, Ashley Mote - UKIP MEP - is a good man to keep an eye on.

But our most dangerous "fifth-column" organisation calls itself "Common Purpose" and they are everywhere, steadily and secretly undermining our country's social infrastructure and preparing us for full EU integration. What they do is nothing short of treasonous, in my opinion.

As for the "banksters", their orchestrated and insincere apology was totally inadequate and patronising. They should be stripped of their assets and jailed, at the very least! Unfortunately, they are just the puppets; the string-pullers have long since cut themselves loose.

I suspect the revelations and resignations that are to come will stagger us all, but it is all damage limitation as far as TPTB are concerned. Could be we'll get them too, though. Keep thinking good thoughts!
