I don't care AT ALL about about bankers getting their bonuses... I care about the plans set in motion to demand that I submit my biometric data to the state otherwise I cannot even leave this island!!!

WHY IS THERE NO DISCUSSION IN THE PUBLIC ARENA REGULARLY AND LOUDLY ABOUT THOSE PLANS WHICH AFFECT MORE PEOPLE THAN 500 CITY GUYS????

I can't believe this stuff is going on! What the hell is going on with this country? So much for freedom of speech..
I mean, sure, it was Whitehall, but I'm still pretty sure that this contradicts our human rights in some way, shape or form :/

After putting in abit of research last night, I've come to the conclusion, that our Government is in violation of several of their own legislations, and the Queen is abusing her position, and not putting rest to the situation..

Hippy - please see a previous thread for info on "common purpose" - it's stalinist and they are penetrating: police, schools, NHS, councils, the BBC (big time) amongst many other organisations. Ok, so people...what are our options?

A great deal of the population are either ignorant to the problems, or truly believe that the Government has our best interests at heart. We're just crazy anti-authoritarians in their eyes.

What can we actually do to stem this?

I'm not sure that a petition would do it.

We would need to raise awareness, and get people to start caring..

Brainstorm? Any ideas at all? Cause, pretty soon it's going to be too late if I'm not mistaken..

Our Leaders cannot be arrested and charged with treason as THEY REPEALED THE TREASON LAWS. Blair did this back in 97/98 as he began his destruction of Britain. I know this as a personal friend attempted top take the Government to court for treason and could not proceed due to changes in the Law which had not made headlines!

Not sure what, if anything, you can do to reign in your oppressors.

You see, the things that are happening in the UK are precisely why Americans fight to preserve and protect our Constitutional rights.

Yet time again, Brits mercilessly admonish Americans for our "arrogance".

I do hope you find a path which will free your country from the oppression, for you are no longer a free people.

Liberty no longer exists. Your thoughts, speech, or simple possession of a quote from a book or a magazine article is enough cause to arrest, indefinitely detain *without legal counsel*, and face incarceration.

It's maddening to see what's taking place over there.

The problem is information, its all out here on the web to be seen for themselves but if they dont know its there then it dont really exist. Most people tune in to the BBC or the other Owned media outlets and newpapers for the truth. Trouble is its all BS and there to distract from ALL that is taking place behind them and right in front of them..

I will say I've never been proud of been British but I would like to be but right now the homeland my Grandad and so many thousands more fought and died for is itself on the dam life support machine.

So I guess what we have to do is spread the word become the flames that will set the whole dam forest aflame with questions and a thousand other things... I had the idea of printing out a few of them websites and leaving them everywhere I could because if it looks important people will get curious..

Or maybe what we need to do is draft a Constitution of our own and spread that around.. email, leaflets whatever ..there are some great minds on GLP we can come up with something..

We need to start comming together and not fighting over everything they give us to devide us and make us fight.

I really like the idea of printing stuff out and leaving it around. Cafe's, Restaurants, SCHOOLS, COLLEGES! Young minds are a powerful thing, the less corrupted by governmental policy and consumerism, the better. Not that i advocate brainwashing kids in any way... but if they take an interest, word will indefinitely spread.

It just depends on how many people we could get on board :/. I've got alot of friends who would love nothing more than to help this cause, but the UK's pretty big lol.

How about advertising on the M1? *cough* spray paint *cough* lol.. It HAS been considered, but perhaps not the correct portrayal of our principles and concerns *rolls eyes*..

A new constitution? I like it. Depends how riske our points would be. If the government feels too threatened, I don't doubt that we would suffer for being affiliated. Perhaps I'm just being paranoid... but they must have some sort of anti-Gov propaganda control, or the people would know already.

Great ideas man, keep thinking on these lines.

We need more people in on this at any rate. The more perspectives on the problem, the fairer our argument.

Thats one great idea there with the cafes, Schools and Colleges not sure if they have rules about that ..dam rules but I know coffee shops and cafes dont so tag the places they like to hang out hmmm

Yeah the Uk is pretty big but like think it was Budda said "Even the smallest of pebbles makes big ripples :)

I just had a flux capacitor moment lol ok so whitehall and such is off limits for peaceful protests and such like but ermm what about TV news stations??? They would have no choice but to cover the story what ever it would be cause its right outside their doors lmao

I just had a look at their website - it's an interesting idea and it will be fascinating to see if the idea spreads as they want it to. Something has to be done because the choice at the moment is no choice at all.
