I think it basically means just because someone says something it does not mean its fact. for example before Christopher Columbus sailed to america it was believed the world was flat so therefore that was the truth held by the people of that time and even then he thought he was in china so he didn't no the truth.

Questions are more useful than answers. the reality you percieve is not reality at all but an illusion to which most seem to submit their minds to, letting those that would use it to rule take their free will, though their goal is peace I take issue with the means;control over emotionis something to be learned, not forced upon.there is no freedom at all as long as we are confined within the confines of our own mind and body once you can escape this temporarily even I solute you.for Iwas once as you,asleep unaware,until I subconciously opened the gate to immortal thought everyone thought I went mad at first. but I laughed at those whose wills cannot escape the control of the world and everyone and everything in it. they all want power and control but just don't know it yet.people attempt to make laws which they themselves break. laws are like whips passed from one hand to another and so are lies. all life is temptation given form in what most percieve as matter if you would kill yourself but resist the temptation you would be free.

Initially I made the mistake of taking this quote at face value, then on careful thought I realized that this clearly had a deeper meaning. I finally found my answer, I think you summed this up beautifully.

In my opinion, its not possible to "nail down" natures principles as they are rationally. I see everyone tries to set up their landscapes of reality as it is... but , you make some big mistakes... instead of thinking and putting out your thoughts, you really should think about what is the noblest way of thinking. Just think about the bible... there it writes that God made the earth and heavens with his full wisdom and knowledge... what is the key of coming to that knowledge??? WISDOM... that means we have to think WISE is the first place ;) nobody can bring a formula... thats because everyone is different. I mean, even logic has its limits... in my opinion, to describe reality as it is... u have to look down at it, as you look into a valley from the mountain top. Maybe you will pe capable once you die. I speak with full convinction, that our mind is dependent everytime of the soul. That maybe sounds irrational... but there are so many things in life in which you can loose yourself, bringing you NO JOY but PAIN... I tell you, the only way, I mean the real way is the way of commiting no sins... when you repent of your sins begin a new life... THEN you shall see everything clearly. I made the experience that... the more rational a person is, the more he/she cannot accept wisdom... they answer to wisdom by self-blinding with rational facts... I hope that makes sense... because thats the way i see everything.

I think truth is just a perspective developed specifically on what you are trying to show to everyone. Politicians usually play this game with us, they tell the people what they want to hear only so as when they do get elected they turn a blind eye and "forget" their policy/ promise. In a sense if you are in a battle for expressing truth then if you eliminate your opponent then by default your truth will BE the truth because there is no one else to contradict the your statement.

Which means that any opinion expressed by an individual CAN be turned into Truth if he/she has enough power or wealth to eliminate any contractdiction from the equation, it is saddening to find that Governments issue laws and decrees in which most of the masses ssee it as truth, they are blind and are willing to fight, to argue, to destroy... to keep their perception of truth.

I do agree that Governments and laws are illegal, History has shown us what big powerful men can do to the masses, we have seen Joseph stalin, Hitler, and many others Use truth as a source of control, a source of ignorance in which to blind the people from the facts and opinions of all those people. There is no such thing as freedom.... there is only the pursuit of wisdom and knowledge that one day we may reach enlightment of our purpose in life, the past, the present, and finally the future in which we all seek its meaning and significance. thank you all for reading .

Think of the phrase this way; if everything is true then nothing would be permitted... Also nothing is true, which could mean cant be proven then Nothing is against you (permitted) to make up how you feel or think about how life is to give you something to beleive

Nothing is true: a rule, a promise, a governement. They can't always be true.
