Doom, the neverending search for the date. Does it really matter when it happens? when it happens, it happens?

You have many doomophiles here, itching for some doom, for whatever reason. YOu also have people wanting to be prepared, and dates give you a time frame in which to do that.
I don't mind a solid date in a prediction, as long as the prediction has substance. There are too many AC's that post really vague predictions that get everyones attention, because the vagueness allows for imaginative scenarios. You would think people would catch on by now, though...

Just a philosophical question, why do you feel that you are getting prepared from information given to you? If I give you a date when something is going to happen, why do you feel it would be important?

when your trying to save loved ones it matters. i am pretty sure i know tshtf date give or take a week, and equally pretty frickin sure i know teotwawki date. tri angulated the answer from many sources and my angels basically said in a vision, ya you got it, now get to work dumbass.

I think that the more time a person spends in the obsession of 'doom' and 'preps' the more a person misses out the present fullness of life.

Things that are beyond our human control and unknown completely are not worth getting into a frenzy over.

Is it good to have emergency supplies?

Of course.

Is it good to have a garden or resources of your own if possible?

Yes.


These are some smart things that are good to have even without 'doom.'

To live as efficiently as possible and to be ready for expected and common events such as power outages, ice storms, hurricanes, earthquakes, etc. is prudent.


Like you, I do not understand the importance and the sometimes almost drunken pursuit of a 'doom date.'
