The Bible is very clear that the final conflict of the world will be between the Satanic forces of islam and the Jews and Christians. When the Christians are raptured in 2012, the Jews who did not know their messiah will recognist that the Christians had it right and they will become evangelists for Christ greater than any the world has ever seen. Islam will slit their throats and cut off their heads for their testamony of the Word of God. So be it. God is going to come back and immediately kille Two Hundred Million Islamics who have invaded Israel.

You are right a person can't be raptured in a physical body. 1 Cor. 15:50-56 says that “flesh and blood cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven". You gotta die first. The people that think they will be beamed up are going to be in for a horrible surprise. They are going to be here with the rest of us.

You may be right on the mid tribe theory but this does not have to cancel out a pretribulation act also. Remember the story of the 10 virgins (for one) and how the wedding was ready but only a few (5 of 10) were ready and went in. Maybe their is both and only a very few go in the first rapture.

When Jesus appears in the sky amid loud booms and swirling lights, a bright cloud will come down to Earth and gather up you true believers. Then, the cloud will lift up and fly away, leaving the rest of us pagans all to ourselves on the Earth. I, for one, encourage you to look for Jesus in the sky and to get yourself onto that cloud no matter what. I have already decided that I definitely do not want to go where you're going. Leave us an Earth absent of all true believers. That sounds like heaven to me.

Not so sure about pre-Trib Rapture. Especially since the Tribulation started in Fall of 2008. But really it doesn't matter as to when the Lord takes his Bride, because if we go through tribulation or not, He is still coming and the time is now. Way too many signs to ignore the truth of this. Did you know that one of God's Holy Festivals is one that is called 'no one knows the day or hour' because it depends on the sighting of the new or first visible crescent moon of that month, as to when it will start? All others have a different method of calculation of timing.

Does that phrase, 'no man knows the hour or day' sound familiar? It is an idiom that people alive during Messiah's day would have understood its meaning.

A good understanding of the Festivals and what they 'shadow' or rehearse will certainly help you understand so much about these times.

When you understand the Festivals more you will understand better when He will return, perhaps not the exact year, because it is to come on a Jubilee year, and doubt exists on the exact year this comes up, but you will know what time of the year, down to a few days.

When will the next Birkat HaChama (Birkat haShemesh or Sun Blessing) take place? Birkat HaChama will next be said on Wednesday, 8 April in the year 2009 (Hebrew date: 14 Nissan 5769). Is there anything special about this date, 14 Nissan 5769? There might be: the Kadosh Elyon (the "Ostrovster Admor") wrote that there are only 3 times in 6,000 years of Jewish history when Birkat HaChama falls on 14 Nissan. These are:

Prior to being redeemed from Egypt.
Prior to the miracle of Purim.
In the year 5769.

Since the first 2 occurrences preceded miracles and redemption, the Admor wrote that in the year 5769 the same will occur: This will be the last time ever and shortly afterwards, the redemption must come, b'h.
Note: The Ostrovster Admor wrote that Birkat HaChama falls on 14 Nissan only 3 times in history, when, in fact, the year 5769 will be the 11th time that this occurs! (The last time was on 8 April 1925). Perhaps he was referring only to those times when Birkat HaChama precedes a major redemption. Certainly 5769 will be the last time when this can happen.

Another interesting aspect of this date is that it is said that the Moshiach (Messiah) ben David will arrive at the end of a 7-year cycle. The year 5768 is a shmitta (sabbatical) year, and is followed by 5769, the year in which we recite Birkat HaChama.
