Empathy Enhancement. Virtual Reality System.

This would be especially helpful in several ways.

Obviously, it would allow children to learn and understand cultural and biological differences eliminating bigotry and fear.

Using AI to help develop a peaceful world, to help and serve humanity.

I understand there must be fool proof safe guards installed.

Are we ready for something like this?

It could also be used to "taste" what a certain experience would be like. For instance, to feel nirvana to the extent my mind/heart could hold.

On the other hand, one could understand more deeply the thought processes of one's mate, the thoughts & feeling that are not communicated.

Or to feel what it's like to be Joan of Arc, for example.

Once the experience is completed we return to our "regular programming" but with added insight into another person's world.

I'd love to give it a shot.

It would absolutely help to know HOW another person is actually feeling. It's amazing how easily we can hurt someone without even knowing it.

Yes, then it would help us to remain sensitive to this other person's thoughts & feelings and enjoy a fuller relationship.

One more thought about this.

In addition to feeling another, one can temporarily disconnect a thought or feeling from oneself to experience it's absence in one's reality. Afterwards, if the experience is beneficial then the person can begin the process of consciously removing the corrupted thought/feeling permanently.
