I carry either a full size 1911, or a .38 snubby.

That'll work I also use a Taurus P85 snubby in .38 special

I carry either a PPK/s or a .380 Beretta.

I have also been known to carry my S&W .357 5 shot, a custom .357 over under derringer, .25 Beretta, a .31 baby colt baby dragoon, .31 Remington pocket pistol and a 410 ga shotgun cane.

I agree with this person.

Carry at least a NAA .22 derringer (in my suit's key pocket) even while wearing a swimsuit and in salt water.
Sharks, is not as baaaad, as the gangbangers in the parking lot, those five guys, (with black market guns intheir pockets) who liked the looks of your GF in her bikini.

I have the Ruger LCP also...I would recommend .380 for a back up, .380 ammo is so much better than it used to be.

Walther PPK, PPKS are same size as my 9mm Tokarevs.

I once sold a .380 Beretta to a biker who stuck it inhis back pocket and rode off.
It fell out and landed on the hammer. Shot him in his right butt cheek.
