ALL of them because those who don't know history are doomed to repeat it. Give 'em the good the bad and the ugly.

The I Ching (translated by Richard Wilhelm).

The Wilhelm translation is thought to be the definitive book on the I Ching in modern times. I think it is excellent. The I Ching is not just an oracle.. it is an impressive philosophical concept, as well. Wilhelm does an excellent job bring this home to the reader. This translation of the I Ching is right up there with The Art Of War in understanding various Chinese attitudes and approaches to life; its difficulties and triumphs... this is the only hardback book I have had to buy a second copy of because I worn the first one out.

I just have a feeling that ancient books will be a mere curiosity in the "new world."

We'll have all the knowledge we need intuitively, probably be able to access "akashic records" or whatever at will.

Just my guess..
