Had a run to the health food store today because I'm trying to kick sugar and refined flour foods. Got some Ezekial bread and wild rice. The coolest stuff, though, was the toiletries.
I needed body soap, so I picked up a bottle of Dr. Bronner's lavender. It's AWESOME! Like oil, but soap, and so gentle. My skin feels awesome. Also lovin' the Thai mineral crystal deodorant and the first fluoride-free toothpaste I've ever had (Tom's of Maine's).
Great stuff. I read that women literally absorb gallons of stuff through our skin--what with makeup, body wash, lotion, hair dye, etc. Made me rethink a lot of my daily habits. |
