That is what I use. takes care of pain and infection. Just put some on finger and rub gums till infection is gone. Tasted awful and will blister the gums a tiny bit but it works well

You CAN buy penicillin, amoxicillin, etc. that are called fish antibiotics at a pet store that are as good or better than those prescribed to humans. Tropical fish are very sensitive and cannot have antibiotics with contaminants in them. People all over have used them for years and they work just fine. You can buy penicillin, amoxicillin ampicillin, tetracycline, doxicycline, etc. I buy them all the time to have in case of emergency and have used them for YEARS!!!

Go to your nearest dental school and call the primary care clinic. Usually they can get you in a couple of days. In the meantime, have him take advil or alieve, NOT tylenol. Buy a toothache kit at you local pharmacy. Ask the pharmacist which one is the best.

I am a dentist and would help but I am located in rural East Texas. Call around to local dentists and ask if the dentist will do a pulpotomy, and offer to pay what you can even if it is 20 dollars, and the balance over time.

I have done a lot of charity work. The state pays for the dentists education and we were told to give back to the taxpayer in the form of treating indigent patients that are in pain.

Try red cross toothache meds. tastes awful but you will forget about the pain of any toothache.

I have great advice for you.

I had the entire top of my wisdom tooth shattered and I treated a painful tooth for 1.5 YEARS before seeing a dentist.

When I finally went in, the dentist was shocked I didn't have an infection. He janked it out right then and there.

Here is what I did to get by, sleep and be out of pain.

Materials needed:
(1)Ambesol or other oral anesthetic
*get the strongest liquid, not the gel. The gel sucks.
(2)Q-Tips (medium sized)
(3)Bacardi 151

Brush the tooth well to make sure it is clean. Soak a q-tip with the Oral Anesthetic and apply to the tooth and the surrounding 1-2 teeth. Tooth pain can spread.

Take one shot of Bacardi 151 and DO NOT SWALLOW!!! Let the alcohol submerge the painful tooth. This will disinfect and add extra pain relief.

Warning- Oral Anestheitc looses its ability to numb after a few months. Body adapts?!

You can also look up a dental school. They do free dental work but they are students learning. Pretty much safe and just as good if not better then real dentists since they have something to prove, there grades!

Clove oil should ease the pain, giving you time to call various dentists in your local area and ask them if they would consider your situation and help your son or guide you to someone who can help.

If the tooth is infected a trip to the emergency room might be necessary because you do not want an infection to get out of hand. The social services department in the hospital will be able to assist you in finding the dental resources needed for your son.

Also, you could wash the tooth with drinkable spirit (wodka, whiskey) it'll kill off the bacteria and will give some relief!

1) Avoid all sugar, corn syrup and sweatened drinks. This will give the infecting bacteria less available fuel to grow.

2) Hydrogen Peroxide mouthwash. Brush then swish a little hydrogen peroxide in your mouth.

I would say this is the best advice you will get, but it just treats the symptom temporarily.

Do you Americans not get Teetree oil over there? I suppose it would be similiar to Clove Oil.. but have had Teetree to treat an absessed tooth before.. did the trick. Best mouthwash is warm/hot salt water, or Vodka is good too.
There's bound to be a free dental training school around. You want to get some Amilloxillan 500mg anti-biotics, 5 day course to fight the infection. Garlic will help too.. but not if the infection gets into your blood-stream.. that's very dangerous, can give you Sentsi?? (no idea how to spell it!?), but it's dangerous if not sorted out. Cannabis is a fantastic pain killer too, the best of all painkillers apart from morphine & ketamine. Just make do with 2 paracetemol then..

Dentist fucked up my tooth, only pulled half of it out, left the root in, so got to get that removed soon, but luckily I don't have to pay for it. Our free dental service is quickly on the way out, so have got all my tooth work done while I'm on benefits, otherwise we pay towards treatment.. if working.

AND at least 2 Ibuprophen or Excedrin. This has always worked for me. The Goldenseal is an antiabiotic that will kill the infection or impacted tooth right away.

Heat some water and salt it well and have him a number of times during the day hold that in his mouth to draw whatever infection there is present to the surface and maybe it will 'open' , come to a head if you will. If that does have him continue to do this for some time and also to hold some peroxide in the area of the mouth that opens.

Ultimately you should find a dentist to treat this as infection in the bone, even after treatment by a professional is never fully resolved and there is always some pathogenic activity due to the porosity of the bone and the environment in general.

And to the guy who said marijauna, thats a yes and no, while in the long run it may help with the pain, and moreso simply to help u keep your mind off of it, initially just as cigarettes it will aggrivate/irritate the area and cause more pain, if u are to use pot do it just before a you give your mouth a good cleansing, ya want to keep your mouth clean as much as possible, make sure to do so prior to apply the teabag or whatever else u r gonna use, i have also found using plantain slighty chewed/crushed put on it the same way as with the teabag helps as well.

first brush the teeth to remove food particles and sugar that is making it "the tooth" hurt worse. Then gargle your mouth for a minute with full stregnth apple cider venigar to disinfect your mouth.. Then rinse your mouth out well with clear water then with teaspoon of extra virgin first cold pressed olive oil for a minute, then spit the remaining oil into toilet or sink do not rinse off the oil .. the extra virgin first cold pressed olive oil will coat your mouth and is a super strong radical scavenger . do all of this after each meal and ditch the sugur drinks and candy . see dentist asap . plain black tea to drink and no sugar for you til tooth is fixed . keep that mouth cleaned out well after eating and use your apple cider venigar and extra virgin oliv e oil, til you can go to dentist use black plain yea til tooth is fixed.
