I'd hate to be the cops who are told to go round up all the guns.
I don't believe anyone is nuts enough to actually try to confiscate firearms en masse.

I have heard several second hand reports of some of the civvies in New Orleans shooting back. Of course, that would never make the news, True or not? I don't know, but I'd bet it is.
