How Long Does The USA have before Martial Law/Civil War
The is no doubt that the US is on the brink of either Martial Law and or Civil War or ML would provoke CW. After hearing on many occassions of what the big brave gun toting Americans would do if the poop hit the fan what do you think would happen.

For a people armed with so many weapons they seem very reluctant to use them. On the other hand the perps are ratcheting up the pressure all the time. Soldiers and police on the streets armed to the teeth intimidating everyone and spreading fear. But with all whats happened to date is there anything that would provoke the citizenry into action. Say if gun control was introduced would people just hand over their guns or would we start to see people standing up for their rights.

How much more do the people of the US have to loose before they will fight back and if pushed will they fight back, are they just too law abiding and respect authourity.

I'm an overeducated, 44 yo, businesswoman/mom. I'm super white, drive a Subaru, and am petite; about as bland as you can get.
If some douchebag motherfucker cop tried to storm my front door, shoot my dogs, and tried to claim my guns he better have a helmet because I'll be aiming for his head. And that's got nothing to o with testosterone or bravado. I've had about enough of this police state shit.

I didn't come here to lose.

What makes you think everyone is here to fight back?

Maybe some people just want to figure out disaster preparation?

THE POWER OF FEMA

1979 – FEMA, which stands for the Federal Emergency Management Agency, is given huge powers. It has the power, in case of “national emergency”, to suspend laws, move entire populations, arrest and detain citizens without a warrant, and hold them without trial. It can seize property, food supplies, transportation systems, and can suspend the Constitution.
Not only is it the most powerful entity in the United States, but it was not even created under Constitutional law by the Congress. It was a product of a Presidential Executive Order. An Executive Order becomes law simply by a signature of the U.S. President; it does not even have to be approved by the Representatives or Senators in the Congress.

A state of “national emergency” could be a terrorist attack, a natural disaster, or a stock market crash, for example. Here are just a few Executive Orders associated with FEMA that would suspend the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. These Executive Orders have been on record for nearly 30 years, and could be enacted by the stroke of a Presidential pen:

# 10995: Right to seize all communications media in the United States.
# 10997: Right to seize all electric power, fuels and minerals, both public and private.
# 10999: Right to seize all means of transportation, including personal vehicles of any kind, and total control of highways, seaports, and waterways.
# 11000: Right to seize any and all American people and divide up families in order to create work forces to be transferred to any place the Government sees fit.
# 11001: Right to seize all health, education and welfare facilities, both public and private.
# 11002: Right to force registration of all men, women, and children in the United States.
# 11003: Right to seize all air space, airports, and aircraft.
# 11004: Right to seize all housing and finance authorities in order to establish “Relocation Designated Areas”, and to force abandonment of areas classified as “unsafe”.
# 11005: Right to seize all railroads, inland waterways, and storage facilities, both public and private.
# 11921: Authorizes plans to establish Government control of wages and salaries, credit and the flow of money in U.S. financial institutions.

Start checking off the list. People aren't reluctant to use them. It's when they start to implement the above.

imo, There will be a precipitating 'event' that will begin it ~ think: border flare-up, medical 'flu' contagion, assorted military ops (false flag or otherwise) such as nukes, bombs, planes flying into buildings, etc. and of course, rioting on a large scale in any metro area.

The more 'monumental' the event the bigger the response but even if small, it will spread ` most likely cities first. Again, imo, the people just won't get so pissed off to start it ~ most are like sheep, afterall. It will BEGIN with something else.

Just sayin'...

I don't expect real severe actions until deep in the Re-election cycle. I then expect a false flag attack and a group identified and vilified.

The corporate media will beat up a frenzy. (IE. AIG Bonus situation). The sheeple will roar and demand action!

Some would say we've been under martial law since Lincoln was in office.

It will not be a civil war. It will be a revolution. All of us against a handfull with all the money and power. But there's strength in numbers.

Technically correct. For sure, since the passage of the 14th Amendment our Constitution and our God-given rights have been subverted.

Things will start to get bad after this September, and will be pretty freaking bad in 2010, but won't be at its worst until 2011 - 2013. You won't have martial law officially declared, not officially, but FEMA will take over sometime between 2011 - 2013, and it will be essentially the same thing then. Definitely a police state by 2013.

You've got it all wrong. The people won't be fighting the government much at all. Mostly the people will be quietly starving to death and not causing much trouble while they're doing it. What trouble there will be will come from the few who aren't content to watch their families starve to death, and yes, they wil be on the march. But not against the government. no - they will be attacking their fellow citizens -- those who have reserves of food and supplies. It will be a civil war, just like Titor said, and it will be a war between the "haves" and the "have-nots", but the "haves" are not today's rich, nor the government, but just those with the foresight today to prepare for the second leg of the collapse of the economy. When the stores are empty, the n you will see the violence, and that's when FEMA will set in.

Re: How Long Does The USA have before Martial Law/Civil War
Certainly less than 4 years. That said, in the short-term, people will be buoyed by the coming Bear rally and fail to notice the total disconnect between Wall St. and Main St. Look at the markets this morning - unemployment UP, DOW UP. If that doesn't say it all, nothing does.
I think it will be Martial Law first, then implementation of Sharia Law/NWO monetary rules and then Civil War. Study the Civil War of the nineteenth century - it took many years for it to ramp up. That said, the disenchantment in America has been growing since 9-11-01, so we're essentially into this process eight years already and so deep that I believe we have already passed the point of no return (that was last year's election).
When the Russian historian(?)said that America will break into five regions by 2010, I think he was right, but maybe off by a couple of years.
