No, I'm being serious. I know that my attacks against religion can be vitriolic...

But I've been thinking about it recently.

Yeah, but it will be different when you believe again, ON YOUR OWN TERMS, not someone else's.

Lost the faith, or lost the holy spirit? If the holy spirit, yes, but in God's time, not yours. Lose your faith? What did you do? I pray you didn't blaspheme the holy spirit. I'm praying for you.

How does one do that?

If you had the holy spirit, and then turned against God, and said everything that you did or felt came from yourself or the devil, and the holy spirit doesn't exist. I'm not an expert, but that is what I believe. Those 100,000 in the UK that "debaptized" themselves. Well, I wouldn't want to be one of them on judgement day.

To question my attitude of vehement oppostion? I'm not sure. There's so much wrong in this world...So many terrible things happen. Awful things.

There aren't many institutions which claim to stand for just plain, simple GOOD.

At least religions, at their cores, seem to stand for things which are good.

Catholics find that Friday is a good time to lose ones faith so they can party having lots of sex and doing drugs, stealing and maybe a murder or two. Then, go in Sunday and ask the priest to forgive their sins.

If they stole from or murdered a Protestant (supposed heretic) then that isn't even considered a sin, according to their faith.

Sad thing is a priest can't forgive sins at all.

You know that you can just choose to believe God exists and is involved in your personal life...try it as an experiment, and see what happens.
