actually it takes 25 yrs, that is how long it takes a car to become a classic and it is also how long an artist or band must wait until induction in the rock n roll hall of fame

since the 1st hair band to have a #1 album was Quiet Riot in 1984 ,OP is right on track

soon this will be the muzak in the stores and on telephone lines on hold

only 6 more yrs until Grunge is classic rock as well
