Lack of details in the Pirate vs. American Sailors News releases

Does anyone have any help-full links giving more specific details on the actual situation prior to killing the pirates?

How did the captain "give himself up for the crew" when he himself was unarmed and a hostage himself prior to the heroics?

What happened to the pirates' original boat?

Where were the other pirates? Only 4 pirates?

Why would the lifeboat have been so quickly out of fuel? Shouldn't it be fully fueled in case of emergency?

Why was there such a delay before a navy support arrived at the scene? The navy does have other means of transport other than a cruiser such as helicopters, jets, hovercraft ect.

Anyway just a few questions I have unanswered.
