It is done before and from what i heard "it" tastes like chicken. I see some downsides though. The zombie's will likely be full of fluoride, aspartame. monesato stuff and who knows what poisons. I rather stick to eating bugs and water-vegetables.

I have got the food stuff covered differently. I have the skill-set to help many. Some of these many will bring me food just to show their gratitude. I know this is so because i already live that since 2004 when my money ran out. Live on what is offered since and my major problem now is there is to much food. Abundance is ok but it also requires self-restraint. :)

Another one i considered from your post is pretending to be a zombie also, go incognito. That will not work for me if only because i laugh to much. I already get those weird looks. lol
