I was just watching a new diabetes tv show on satellite and they said insulin triggers the liver enzyme to produce cholesterol.

Eating foods that cause the pancrease to produce more insulin results also in higher cholesterol.

I say fear not over cholesterol either.
Studies have shown somewhere that higher IQ or smarter persons naturally have higher cholesterol levels for some unknown reason.
(The brain is mainly cholesterol and grey matter.)

The drug companies are angry that persons have healthy minds so this angle would be to sabotage the mental ability; not only livers and blood.

Cholesterol actually keeps blood from drying out and moist. Ayurveda medicine refers to cholesterol as "Shrotas" or the moisture angels.

Of course you'll want healthier sources such as whey or cheese or oily fish. Since livers produce cholesterol avoiding eating excess has sense.

Those drugs however prohibit the liver from manufacturing it's own and doing it's God/nature given duties and are injurious to full function such as poison filter ability.

Avoiding deep frying practices and using butter or oil on a saturated breading that forms a crust of extra calories and fat confusing cellular activity.

Avoiding fried red until brown meat (better to eat a few pieces raw-ish than breaded). (Extra calories affect weight gain more than fat.)

I know cholesterol is usefull. The point is it needs to be normal or it does cause problems.

Drugs are not the answer rather a diet change, because that is what caused the problem, eating the wrong foods.
