I was born for a reason, I will not doubt the will of my higher powers.

There is no if. We all chose to be here now. It's called free will. No pain, no gain as the saying goes. We chose to be born so our soul can gain experience and hopefully learn the lessons we decided (before we came here) that we needed for our soul to grow and evolve.

Despite being grateful for the life God gave me, I would have to say no, I would choose to skip it. Does that make any sense, I don't know. I guess I feel guilty to say I would rather not have been born, but that's how I feel.

I have already been instrumental in that choice, sending them back to God.

It sucks, it hurts all the time... but it was the right choice.

Honestly, given that life that I have had lead, the answer would have to be no. Since it's already happened, the only thing I can do is not bring any children into this fucked up world.

For every low point in life, there is a high point... and they wouldn't feel so high if we didn't have low points to compare. See without bad times, we can't appreciate good times - and life would be bland.

Why would you choose to exist in this world if you have a choice?

Honestly.. I don't know if I want to exist in this world. My life is a stretching series of low points and those high points I speak of are much too rare for me. The only thing that keeps me going is the anticipation of a better life with a frequent string of high points but this shit is getting old and I'm tired of waiting. I used to be religious.. and things were so much easier. Human responsibility was reduced to nothing, it's all god's will, and wishful thinking in a fantasy land. But then I grew up. Now my mind is free and everything's clear, but the world feels much colder.

As far as having children goes.. I'm a little nervous about having a child. What if he has a life like mine? I don't wanna bring someone into existence just so they can feel like shit and not want to exist anymore.. kinda like the way I'm feeling right now. But on the other hand, having kids is said to be one of the greatest joys in life. That's too good an offer to pass. I just hope that if I do have kids, they live much happier lives than mine.

BTW someone on here called you a pessimist.. but that's bullshit. These are fundamental questions that rational people have always pondered.. and everyone here should address them to think and reflect on their own lives. You'd be a mindless idiot not to ask yourself these questions at some point in your life.

Yes, only because there would have been no one to take care of my mom and dad, and for the sake of the homeless dogs I rescued. That's what makes it worth it, I have done some good.
