Swine Flu Deaths

MAY 2, 2009. In an AP article dated today, by Paul Haven, we find this:

“The two CDC doctors spoke during a tour of Mexico's Intelligence Unit for Health Emergencies, the operations center of the country's response to the disease…Hugo Lopez-Gatell Ramirez, deputy director general of epidemiology at the center, underscored the importance of getting fast and effective care. He said that among the 16 confirmed swine flu deaths in Mexico…”

WHAT?

16 CONFIRMED SWINE FLU DEATHS IN MEXICO?

And from this “core of the outbreak,” we have school closings in the South Pole and warnings about travel to Mars?

More people in Mexico die every day from exploding balloons.

But of course, who cares? The “pandemic” is spreading and everyone needs to stop breathing and stay in their cellars. A man in an airport line coughs once and people stare at him as if he’s a serial killer.

It’s true that we’ve seen conflicting numbers of swine flu deaths in Mexico, but still. What’s going on here? Did ANYTHING happen in Mexico that justifies all the actions, globally, that are being taken?

It’s about the SOCIAL CONTRACT, folks. If everybody around you is scared, you have to be scared, too. Otherwise, you’re a clear and present danger “to the community.” If you stand up at a PTA meeting at your local school and say the panic is completely unjustified, make sure you’re wearing a Kevlar vest and a helmet. The soccer moms with their vast overprotective attitude about their kiddies will shank you in the hallway or gun you down in the parking lot.

Doesn’t matter what’s been happening in Mexico. Doesn’t matter if the media are insane. The word is out: It’s time to be afraid. Fake it if you have to. Take five or ten vaccines, just in case. Who cares which ones? Buy a haz-mat suit and wear it to work. Every five minutes, from your desk, scream: THE SKY IS FALLING.

And oh, by the way, among these so-called 16 confirmed Swine Flu deaths in Mexico, how many were found to be harboring a whole virus, a new whole virus, a combo pig-bird-human virus, by actual test? I’m not talking about some irrelevant indirect test that turns up random genetic debris. I’m talking about the gold standard: direct virus isolation.

My bet is: ZERO.

But ignore that. The mandate is: BE AFRAID. Blab about the latest school closings at the water cooler. Put creases in your forehead. Make your eyes dart from side to side. Pretend you’re on the verge of bursting into tears. Join the crowd. The Fear Club wants YOU. In times like these, they need to recognize you as one of their own. Otherwise, you’re an outsider. You’re a threat. Interrupting their fear is a major social mistake. Oh dear.

Your worries create their own fulfillment. But you don't have to worry about that, because you can let those worries go.

Your fears bring you closer toward whatever you fear. But do not fear such a scenario, because you have the ability to let those fears go.

Your thoughts do not end when you finish thinking them. They continue to echo through your life in ways you may not even realize.

So fill your mind with thoughts of gratitude for the abundance you already enjoy. That abundance will most certainly grow as a result.

When you feel doubt, or fear, or anger, or frustration, know that you can let it go just as surely as you can pull your hand away from a painful sensation. Keep your life focused on the goodness, on the positive possibilities and on your most treasured dreams.

The obstacles do not limit you. Rather, they compel you to be creative and resourceful.

The challenges you face do not limit you. They provide you with an arena in which to create meaningful value.

Is there something you desire that seems impossible? Then you still have work to do in framing and clarifying and connecting with the truth of that desire.

Nothing separates you from your authentic purpose other than your refusal to see it. See it, be it, and leave the limitations behind.

Re: SOMETHING INNOCUOUS
Swine Flu Crazies

By Jon Rappoport

MAY 3, 2009. The Swine Flu mess continues to evolve. And a mess it is.

Suppose you were a researcher in a lab, and on the first day of the media explosion about “possible Swine Flu,” you received a few swab samples from patients’ doctors in Mexico City. Your job was to find out what was there in those samples. Something new? Something important? Something ordinary?

THAT’S YOUR JOB.

Of course, in a sense, you’re just a cog in a machine. Why? Because you follow certain test procedures. You don’t question whether those procedures are useful or valid. Oh, maybe in the past you had doubts, but you buried those doubts. After all, you have a job to protect. You can’t start making waves.

Now, let’s freeze the frame right there. Are you, the lab researcher, perpetrating a deception if you employ procedures that don’t work, that turn up wrong answers? Are you just making a mistake? Are you being a robot? Are you committing a crime? Are you simply in denial? Are you, like millions of other people around the world, in their jobs, just a cog in a machine? Does it matter?

I’M JUST INTERESTED IN ONE THING. IF YOU SCREW UP, WHAT ARE THE CONSEQUENCES?

OH, LET’S SEE. THE WORLD, DRIVEN BY THE MEDIA AND BY MEDICAL BUREAUCRATS, WILL START JAMMING UP THE AIRWAVES WITH FALSE PRONOUNCEMENTS ABOUT A NEW DISEASE. SCHOOLS WILL CLOSE. EVENTS WILL BE CANCELLED. PEOPLE WILL ENTER A STATE OF FEAR. SOME PEOPLE WILL BE QUARANTINED. OTHER PEOPLE, WHO AREN’T VERY SICK AT ALL AND WOULD ORDINARILY RECOVER ON THEIR OWN, WILL BE GIVEN HIGHLY TOXIC MEDICINES. THESE MEDICINES ON THEIR OWN WILL CAUSE FURTHER ILLNESS. YOU’LL ALSO BE CONTRIBUTING TO A STATE OF AFFAIRS IN WHICH THE SHEEP OF MANY NATIONS WILL MOVE ONE STEP CLOSER TO ACCEPTING THE ORDERS AND COMMANDS OF MEDICAL BIGSHOTS WITHOUT THINKING. AT ANY TIME. FOR ANY REASON. AND, ON TOP OF THAT, YOU’LL ALSO BE HELPING PEOPLE TO CONVINCE THEMSELVES THAT THEY’RE GETTING SICK WHEN THEY AREN’T, BECAUSE SUGGESTIONS OF ILLNESS-FEAR ARE IN THE AIR.

But you, in your lab, don’t really think about all that. You HAVE A JOB TO DO. You test the samples from the patients. Your test is a scientific sham. Somewhere down the line in the past, this test (called a PCR) was brought on board as a way to detect illness. It was never really designed to do that, but it was imported and employed anyway. A misleading test---and you’re using it. THAT’S YOUR JOB.

You analyze the samples and you find what? Tiny amounts of what can only be called genetic debris from the body. It’s there all the time. In this case, you find little gene sequences that suggest pieces of pig virus and bird virus and human virus---and you conclude that you have evidence of a NEW WHOLE VIRUS---A SINGULAR PIG-BIRD-HUMAN FLU VIRUS---and you (or your betters) give it a name. AH1N1. You’re utterly wrong. You have no evidence for your conclusion. But you draw that conclusion.

And now, the wheels really turn. Everybody thinks there is a new virus that is attacking people all over the planet.

Of course, as I say, there is no evidence for that. But who cares?

YOU DID YOUR JOB.

BUT THE TESTS ARE WRONG, INAPPLICABLE, USELESS, AND MISLEADING.

Then why are people using them?

Ask them.

I could give you another 20 pages on the whys and wherefores of it. But for now, I don’t care. I only care that it’s happening with “Swine Flu” before our eyes.

There are people out there who can only think in terms of “it’s a conspiracy” or “it couldn’t be a conspiracy.” They filter everything through one of those channels. They need to think, with clarity, about what is FALSE and what is TRUE first. Why? Because that paints the picture of what is going on. Then they can make up their minds about whether it’s conspiratorial or not.

For example, there are people who hear about a pig-bird-human combo virus that is brand new, and immediately they assume it’s been created in a lab. They assume it’s a biowar germ that’s gotten loose or was let loose on purpose.

BUT IS THERE A VIRUS IN THE FIRST PLACE?

WAS IT EVER REALLY FOUND IN A HUMAN? OR WAS THIS WHOLE FANTASY, AS I’VE DESCRIBED, THE RESULT OF A USELESS TEST AND A USELESS AND FALSE INTERPRETATION OF THE TEST?

Back in the mists of time, there was once the widely-held scientific notion that, in order to know a group of people had a certain disease caused by a certain germ, you had to find the actual whole germ in every one of those patients. It’s almost a truism, isn’t it? And then, on top of that, there was the notion that you had to find A LOT of that germ in each and every patient, because illness comes about when millions of a particular germ are doing their work in the body.

But now those two pillars have been toppled and hauled away. It doesn’t matter anymore. Now, if you do a PCR test on a patient, and you get hints of tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny, TINY amounts of gene fragments, you can write script to your heart’s content. You can say people coughing in Malaysia are suffering from a pig-bird-cow-sheep-ox jumbo combo virus that is new, has never been seen before, and is dangerous, and needs to be treated with TOXIC PHARMACEUTICALS.

Drug companies, by the way, like that sort of script writing. It allows them to sell lots of meds.

Re: SOMETHING INNOCUOUS
Hi Jude

I was a bit scared to post here or even look in on things because I thought there was some kind of inoculating going on...you know with all these fear stories being passed about.
I don't go near needles unless they are pine needles.
Even knitting needles can be dangerous, but this turns out to be something completely different.

Something completely innocuous as it says on the tin.
Yes, but I must admit I am a bit freaked out now about the balloons exploding in the first article. People dying every day.......I mean whoooa this is scary stuff.
My part-time work as a clown that makes animal shapes out of balloons has been put in jeopardy due to this new found fear of exploding balloon shaped animals.
That kinda takes the ‘ff’ out of fluff which then just leaves me with flu.

Turns out there is always something to fear, it just depends on what to fear first. Like a fear buffet. So much, so little time, so little appetite for this.
I have therefore decided to concentrate on overcoming this specific fear of balloons full-time for the next four years. That would bring us to 2013 and by then I'm sure I will find something else to work on. Maybe 13 will be my lucky year if I don't get engulfed in a giant exploding animal-shaped balloon before then.

Anyway sorry to voice this out aloud on your thread but who do you turn to in innocuous times like these.

Now I have to look up this word ‘pandemic’ from the article. It sounds a bit made-up I must admit and in my dictionary all I found was ‘pandemonium’. I wonder if the two are related.
Hmmmm.

Napolitano: Not time to rest on new flu

Mon May 4, 5:21 pm ET

WASHINGTON – U.S. officials say they aren't relaxing amid reports that swine flu may be milder than first feared.

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano told reporters Monday that now is not the time to rest because the outbreak could die down with warmer weather only to roar back during fall flu season.

Meanwhile, she says the public shouldn't be alarmed if the World Health Organization declares that the new virus has officially begun a pandemic, meaning it has spread pretty much globally.

Napolitano says that word describes "geography, not severity" and thus wouldn't change U.S. steps to stem infections that have been confirmed in about 300 people in more than half the states.

Hi again Wasayo...

Excellent comment!!
>>> "What happens if it goes away?"--

yikes! it's NEVER ever going to go 'back the way it was'

((((((what? --before swine flu? --before 911?? --before a father takes the lives of his entire family and himself through despair and fear??? )))))

Nothing ever goes back the way it was.

It's time this country, this world, we ALL-- learned to see things as they really are... (purely my own opinion here...).. We are not always told the truth. Actually, i kind of think we are NEVER TOLD TRUTH as it really is, but then, my view is coming from the void these days.

It's all true. and Nothing is true, yet it's still all true.

Believe that, huh.

So, no matter how or what happens with the latest Big Deal in the Works... we must each take a long serious look at what do we want in our lives, when are we going to stop letting it all just happen, and begin to take more personal responsibility. It all begins in very small ways, in one's own mirror.

Wasayo, thank you so very much for this soap box opportunity. Sheesh... who woulda guessed it...

Anyway, this is really what i was thinking about when this thread was created... that, instead of creating trouble, it could be a place where information is shared, with clear and open mind/heart.

It's possible.

Hmmm from what I see there are fat ladies singing all over the place.(or rather weight or metabolically challenged ladies). As for time telling.........only a factor if you have time to spare and frankly so many on this charming globe are plumb out of time and out of step with the vibes of Now.

Out of time, out of mind and out of sight ~inner sight~insight.

Re Janet Napolitano -I have no wish to quote her or anything from CNN but will do so to illustrate the very point of the confusion and chaos that is in the media and the contradictions - what conclusions can one draw -are they themselves this confused (very likely considering they were expecting a massive success with their dark plan) or are they trying to confuse the public – new order from chaos maybe.
I'm not confused are you?

Here for stuff and giggles juxtapose the two different articles - Wasayo's above yahoo one and this CNN one –I hear a slightly different tune : -

[link to www.cnn.com]
-------------------------------------------------------
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The swine flu virus that has sparked fear and precautions worldwide appears to be no more dangerous than the regular flu virus that makes its rounds each year, U.S. officials said Monday.

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said swine flu is no more danerous than the regular flu virus.

"What the epidemiologists are seeing now with this particular strain of U.N. is that the severity of the disease, the severity of the flu -- how sick you get -- is not stronger than regular seasonal flu," Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said Monday as the worldwide number of confirmed cases of swine flu -- technically known as 2009 H1N1 virus -- topped 1,080.

The flu has been blamed for 26 deaths: 25 in Mexico and one in the United States, according to the World Health Organization.

Still, Napolitano noted, the seasonal flu results in "hundreds of thousands of hospitalizations" and roughly 35,000 fatalities each year in the United States. There are still concerns that the virus could return in the fall, in the typical flu season, as a stronger strain.

"We are cautiously optimistic that this particular strain will not be more severe than a normal seasonal flu outbreak," Napolitano said. Watch Napolitano assess the swine flu risk »

Napolitano acknowledged claims by health officials in Mexico, the epicenter of the H1N1 outbreak, who believe their cases have peaked and said, "I have no reason to think that is inaccurate."

The WHO said there were no immediate plans to raise its alert to the highest level, Phase 6. That designation would mean "that we are seeing continued spread of the virus to countries outside of one region," Assistant Director-General Keiji Fukuda said.

From what I see there are fat ladies singing all over the place.(or rather weight or metabolically challenged ladies). As for time telling.........only a factor if you have time to spare and frankly so many on this charming globe are plumb out of time and out of step with the vibes of Now.

Out of time, out of mind and out of sight ~inner sight ~ insight.

Here for stuff and giggles juxtapose the two different articles - the above yahoo one and this CNN one –I hear a slightly different tune now : -

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The swine flu virus that has sparked fear and precautions worldwide appears to be no more dangerous than the regular flu virus that makes its rounds each year, U.S. officials said Monday.

Sorry for double post but the first one slipped away before I saw that the one line in bold was from a caption under a photo and not part of main text.

I enjoyed your writing a few post back Jude. Hope you get on that soap box or rather eloquent and powerfully innocuous speaker’s podium more often.

Anywho another bump for Peace and Common Sense.

It's possible.

hugs, and thanks--
