Anonymous Coward User ID: 667950 United States 05/04/2009 07:02 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Trust me...the ppl predicting doom know the market is going to rise first...its going to get to around 9000 and start to fall again as soon as another bubble bursts IMO...will that be the big fall? Idk. But they (TPTB) are propping the market to encourage investments for now before they implode it again. You know the rule, the higher you rise, the farther you fall. Plus, it keeps everybody hopeful for a time being before it is snatched away. This may sound doomy and gloomy but is common sense. You CANNOT spend your way out of debt. Maybe for a few more years, Maybe. Then again we could fall apart later this year. It's not a question of if but when. And that is just taking into account the best case scenario (the dollar collapses on its own due to the spending) IMO, assuming there is no biological or terrorist attack (maybe the h1n1 comes back in the fall?) or another world war, or even if China stops financing our debt by buying our treasury bills. Those right there would accelerate the coming collapse exponentially. |
