yepcowards can be arrogant.

i am one of the polite AC´s. i do have a registered name but prefer to be a coward.

if you come across intelligent and civilized messages, then you know it´s me.

Users like Idol like to respond to their own messages. By doing it AC it appears as if people are interested in talking to them.

MOSTLY THEY ARE AVS WHO WANT TO RANT OR LIE BUT NOT TARNISH AN OTHERWISE DECENT REPUTATION.

I am not ignorant. I just periodically add to a discussion if I feel I have something relative to contribute. Otherwise I move on to another thread.

Occasionally, if I feel it is relevant to the thread or useful to the other posters, I will post as "AC HH:MM" to clarify and identify follow-on commentary.

The AC posting is a feature I like about GLP. If the board was open only to registered users, I would most likely move along elsewhere.

The ability to post anon is the only reason I post here at all. I read at other sites but will never post because I will not register. Which sucks because sometimes I do have something to say.

I have my own avatar too. But sometimes I get busy like at work and if I wanna post something quick I just use the AC. So it´s not all of us who are cowards. Please think before you speak.

The fact is that many people here have many more than one Avatars, all with different personalities. So what does it matter as you don´t know whos who anyway. I´ll agree that many avs use the AC mode to enhance their own threads or to blow off steam, so you have the same people posting in different modes. So TT where do you draw the line on who is ignorant and who is a good guy?

Truth Teller, I chose to remain an AC because I hate the snobbery connected with many of the AVs here. Why they simply wouldn´t read a thread psoted by a mere AC! Your question smacks of that same arrogance and, dare I say it, IGNORANCE.

I think the snobbery left with the chatters. At least I haven´t seen it appear since Dec. And whether AC (which is more often than not) or Av. I read posts that interest me, could care less if Av or AC posted it.
