You think thats weird look at the anim loop of the anchored Tropical Low that jsut stopped where it is now and hasnt moved all day. Yet the system is gaining strenght.

Halfway down Australia/Queensland just out from the coastline. The Clouds from this sucker have engulfed NZ yet its so small where it formed.

Hi OP! I live in the interior of Alaska.. Alaska is CONSTANTLY moving... 1´s, 2´s, and 3´s are a daily occurance...

And yes... we do get some pretty massive earthquakes... did you hear about the one two years ago? It was a 7.9 and caused ripples in Lake Pontchatrain in Louisiana, tremors in Yellowstone, and Montana, and the seismos trembled on St. Helens and Rainier....

So you better hope you´re wrong....

Or what about the one in 1964... caused a tsunami that wiped Valdez off the map... Oh I know.. the town is still there... they moved it to a more protected spot and rebuilt it... the original town is wiped away....

The quake that the previous poster mentioned occurred at Denali, just a short distance away from the HAARP array in Gakona (sic) Alaska.
HAARP is known to cause quakes.
