Feeling the Squeeze, Exclusive Country Clubs Get the Common Touch [ link to www.washingtonpost.com] UNIONTOWN, Pa. -- Their standing dinner reservation at the country club is for 6:30 p.m., because at least that much never changes. Every Wednesday night, Charles and Mimi Cluss dress in pleated slacks and suit jackets and drive to the manicured playground where Uniontown's elite have gathered for 101 years. It is like a "second home," Charles says of the place where he finalized deals for his lumber company and hosted weddings for two daughters. Except on this night in mid-May, he no longer knows what to expect. "I wonder if it will be loud and rowdy," Charles says. "I wonder if they will still have the crab legs," Mimi says. Yup, the country clubs are taking a hit. Something you never used to see - ads in the sports section from private country clubs, pumping for new members at deeply discounted rates. They have actually been struggling since the dot.com bust. Oh, well, tough titties. Right now, they won't even be able to sell to developers. |

But we need do nothing. Planet X and the pole shift will take care of the power elite for us!
This is also why there is no need for a revolution either, you know, the kind the Founding Fathers pulled off. |

Like we are a separate species. Oh, wait...to them we ARE "From that time Jesus began to preach and say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." Matthew 4:17 |
