Re: Are you a Dragon in Chinese astrology?
People born in the Year of the Snake are deep. They say little and possess great wisdom. They never have to worry about money; they are financially fortunate. Snake people are often quite vain, selfish, and a bit stingy. Yet they have tremendous sympathy for others and try to help those less fortunate. Snake people tend to overdo, since they have doubts about other people's judgment and prefer to rely on themselves. They are determined in whatever they do and hate to fail. Although calm on the surface, they are intense and passionate. Snake people are usually good-looking and sometimes have martial problems because they are fickle. They are most compatible with the Ox and Rooster.

Re: Are you a Dragon in Chinese astrology?
I am.

1988 - Earth Dragon.

I was reading a new book @ Barnes & Noble recently - Dragon 09. July-August is supposed to be the luckiest period in 2009 for us Dragons. Specifically in finance, business, income.

Chinese astrology in some ways is more accurate in my opinion and personally from experience.

I'm already noticing the luck in my life recently. It's pretty fascinating.

So, any other fellow Dragons out there? Earth, Fire, etc?

The Dragon ( 龍 ) is the only mythical creature in the Chinese zodiac. In China, dragons are associated with strength, health, harmony, and good luck; they are placed above doors or on the tops of roofs to banish demons and evil spirits. The Year of the Dragon is associated with the earthly branch symbol 辰.
