Yep, and with the bank the other night, perhaps there's a chance of another announcement Saturday or Sunday?

That was before the failure, assuming they (Bankrate) are on the up and up.

Re: Two More Banks Bite The Dust
thanks for the update GasMan!

feels great to be on the front line of breaking news regarding the collapse of our economy :)

small banks fail, medium banks take their debt...
medium banks fail, larger banks take their debt...
large banks fail, government banks (fed reserve) take their debt, and then fail.

BOOOOM!

I can't wait for my CC debt to be wiped clean! woot woot!

another 1/4 billion dollars onto the FDIC, an expensive week.

Here is the link for all the failed banks since 2000. 2008 looks horrible until you start to compare it to 2009.

Yeah, that's pretty trippy, almost a decade doesn't compare with this year...and that's including the failures and poor economy post-9/11.

Thanks for that, DPR. hf

makes me want to go out and get a credit card....

hey if they`re giving money away fro free...why not?
Beyond one's own mind there is no dazzling light to come shining in from outside to wake one up. If one recognizes one's own intrinsic State as pure from the beginning and only temporarily obscured by impurities, and if one maintains the presence of this recognition without becoming distracted, then all the impurities dissolve. This is the essence of the Path-namkhai norbu.

Why is there a legend about the descent of Christ into hell? The Teacher addressed the lower strata of the astral world, saying: Why, by cherishing earthly thoughts, bind oneself eternally to Earth? And many revolted in spirit and rose higher.

I am in a credit union in Alaska (Alaska USA) with a two star rating, should I move my money to Wells Fargo? I plan on traveling and I figure if I have problems with Alaska USA there would be problems resolving issues since there only in Alaska whereas Wells Fargo covers most states, comments appreciated.
