This is not legislation. It is a decree under legislative forms." —Citizen's Savings & Loan Assn v. Topeka, 20 Wall (87 US) 655, 664 (1874) Using the statement from the above case, we can say that Congress is full of thieves. ` (Be) Divide(ed) and (be) Conquer(ed)... What started earlier this week as mainly a rumbling on the Right side of the Blogosphere has gathered some steam today with revelations that among the dealers being shut down are a GOP congressman and closing of competitors to a dealership chain partly owned by former Clinton White House chief of staff Mack McLarty. The basic issue raised here is this: How do we account for the fact millions of dollars were contributed to GOP candidates by Chrysler who are being closed by the government, but only one has been found so far that is being closed that contributed to the Obama campaign in 2008? "From that time Jesus began to preach and say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." Matthew 4:17 |

Shoot ... MOST car dealers are Republicans!!! so if you are going to close car dealerships at all MOST, by just the law of averages, will be owned by Repubicans. Just the facts of life. Nothing sinister about it. |

In other words, you don't look for Republicans in government housing projects or at the welfare line. If that's your position then I agree. Poor people do poor people things, and rich people do rich people things. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is the beginning of the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it! when you rob Paul to give to Peter ... ... ... you will always get Peters support! :Brieffromnativea: |
