Since most smaller town dealerships which by definition have LOWER SALES, which were the exact ones targeted for closing, would be in areas with a mostly Repubican bent it makes sense that most closed dealerships were owned by Republicans.
Shoot ... MOST car dealers are Republicans!!! so if you are going to close car dealerships at all MOST, by just the law of averages, will be owned by Repubicans.
Just the facts of life. Nothing sinister about it.
