Anonymous Coward User ID: 557772 Canada 05/31/2009 11:13 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I used to have a neurophone for crosschecking the balance of an audiomix before it got stolen LOL....:( 500 fucking dollars for these ahhh!! im poor :) anyways it would allow me to hear frequencies that my ears have shy'd away from over the years. So anyways to make a long story short I worked with a guy that was 90 something percent deaf because his mother had german measles or something like that and that I guess cut away most of his hearing in the low end of the audio spectrum do to something er'another. anyways... I thought why don't I let him try this device to see if it can enhance his hearing... so I let him try it..... i can still remember to this day the look of his face while listening to beethovens 9th symphony for the first time with a more ~normal freq range was truly an ear opening experience for him. worked better then anyhearing aid he ever had... and you know what ... his doc said that device is total bullshit. You know what he said to the doc in sign language ? :) true story.... I might have to get another one of those things cause it was so much fun... fucking expensive tho. |
