Gates has flatly rejected the President's plan, but has since been asked to step down if he will not facilitate the process. According to the deal, the United States would sell the plans for the B-2, along with radar-absorbing paints and metals in exchange for $50 billion in debt relief. | ambiguity unlimited User ID: 692091 United States06/01/2009 01:53 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | why would he have too? the shape of the "stealth" aircraft is based on russian radar research of the 50s... openly puplished research papers were the original source for the design... the chinese got all the tubes used in the "stealth" avionics that were rejected by the manufacturer 10 years ago... modern phased array radar rigs detect the aircraft anyway... the various "stealth" aircraft are the equivalent of the nazi stuka dive bomber, they are a significant threat to second string world powers, but a combat non-issue to modern military powers... |
